BY watching the end credit scene, you dread what happens. Dread and Suspense are what the writer wanted you feel about this. - not surprise.
Is the beginning of s3 a spoiler? it shows something that happens in the last episode of s3. It must be a spoiler! But it's not, for the same reason that 3x12 end credits aren't.
