This show gave me the courage to leave my abusive boyfriend now it's 5 years later I've talked to people and built my self confidence and now I'm in a realtionship with someone who cares for me.
Edit :I just want to day thank you for all the sweet comments. I volunteer at a womans safe house and counsel my boyfriend I spoke of the first time and I are engaged I've finished my degree and we're starting to look at homes to make ours. As for people who are standing up for me in the comments don't bother with the negative people. In a way some are right. But I want to be clear I didn't stay with my ex because I looked past the abuse or loved him despite of it. I had tried to leave and called the police and found out that his cousin was one of them when my ex had found me at my parents house and had threatened to harm them if I didn't come back. Thinking that the police were on his side I felt I had no choice. However I wouldn't be the person I am today without him now I can feel girls from experience that they are stronger alone until they don't feel victimized.
