I’m absolutely loving the emotional patience, the actual conversation, and the maintaining of discipline! Conscious parenting. Letting her feel her feelings, letting her express herself, talking about it, but still maintaining the punishment!

@@ClarinetsForever223 this has definitely been my take as a young mom. I don’t want my daughter to think she’s not allowed to express her feelings. I’m 29 and she’s 2,and she come and tell me when she’s sad or mad. And I’m a firm believer in apologizing to her if I get frustrated and raise my tone with her. All of these things help them in the long run.

I love how in the end you gave her the chance to cry, explain why she felt the way she felt, explain to you why she was in trouble and allowed her to fix her actions and put things right. And because she was a good girl at the end of the night you let her have her tablet back, move her name back to the nice list and gave her fruit snacks. Basically showing empathy for her while she was mad but also ignoring the bad behavior and when she was good giving her praise

I really appreciate your respectfulness of everyone Raven ❤️ how you talk to Ziya and consider her feelings while also still being firm with consequences. Also, I love how you are respectful of Maya’s time. A lot of people would’ve said “well she’s my sister so she can just wait” or “I’m paying her so she’s on my time”.

I’m 5’11 too and lost a lot of weight after I had my daughter. I felt too skinny. I started working out in my 30’s and gained 10lbs like I wanted to. Only took 6 months. Highly recommend high intensity work outs and eating more. I don’t life heavy but it’s so important to strengthen muscles to handle our own body weight.
