I am a 60year old lady and I agree, that most people don't understand this and the sad part is most of them weren't even born in apartheid 🤔. We can make this country the world's best country if we let go of the past and work together as a nation🙏thank you for this, it is giving me some hope for the future 🥰

What a smart man! Street Smart as well. Shame on his haters!!! Intelligent, great sense of humour, honest, sincere, not ashamed of his past - he is such a great example of how a person with such a dark past turned his life around for the better. He used his criminal past to change the lives of so many people by becoming a Motivational Speaker. I have so much respect for you Minister McKenzie! The sincerity, honesty, compassion, intelligence, the list of adjectives to describe him is endless... he is fearless, ambitious, a hard worker, he sticks to his convictions. All I can say is that this man is the best thing that ever happened to South African politics. One of the best things that the President did is to give this great human being a position as a Minister in the South African government. I salute you Gayton McKenzie! Great speech! (Another speech that is from his heart, not read from an Ipad or piece of paper.) Now that's what you call a skilled Orator! Viva Patriotic Alliance!💚

This was truly moving and motivational. Minister McKenzie you have the gift of changing hearts the way that Madiba did. Stay your course. You are exactly where you need to be. We have long wanted for a political leader that cares only about what he/she can do for the people of this country. I read a book called "The art of happiness" and in it is described that when we see someone we don't know but dislike because they are different we should focus on the long list of things that we have in common (nose, ears, eyes, teeth, muscle, bone, etc.) and thus will quickly find that what makes us different is insignificant. May we all find the "heart" of Mandela in ourselves and help others to find it inside of them.

“Sport has the power to change the world, it has the power to inspire. It has the power to unite people in a way that little else does. Sport can create hope where once there was only despair.'' - Nelson Mandela. The lecture you have presented about Mandela is one of the best ever given, simple and straight forward. It is the likes of Nelson Mandela that has made sure that South Africa never experienced war in leading towards its political freedom. The GNU must now work harder on the economic freedom and the likes of Rupert must stop funding political parties but must contribute to economic freedom of all South African using their financial muscle. They need to ignore those loud-mouthed calling them ''white monopoly capital'' and should endeavor to preserve and honor Madiba by contributing more to economic growth and reduction of unemployment in order to address the ills of the past.

On a lighter note, if Pres Ramaphosa said ANC is the number one criminal. This one is a criminal and now is a Minister, this means from prison without any political background to the Ministry, having said that, now Baleka and Mandela call him to deliver a key-note address on Mandela. Well, I do not know what influenced their decisions, but what I know for sure is that tenders in the Ministry might have been on the table. On a serious note, South Africa is a very interesting Country.

I think Gayton was a juvie too? Mandela had a lot of flaws, and I remember a young African guy asking me to marry him and give him my car( I'm 60 right now) and that's why Gayton mentioned his "betrayal by Mandela" because he said things that would make black and brown people think they could claim white wives, white properties, etc.. and he spoke badly about us when he was in foreign countries. God is our only saviour, but while we're on this Earth, we have to rely on other humans...

South African Constitution has double standards and not impartial in its formation. Ordinary citizens cannot work in government with criminal record and without qualification but politicians occupy the highest office in government with criminal record and without qualifications. We are pushed to retire at 60/65 yeears of age but politicians in government have no time limit. Highest government officials can have multiple salaries sitting as board members in state own entities but ordinary citizens on resume a single persal guarded wage.
