I Love these eclectic neighborhoods. These homes are gorgeous. Modern subdivisions are so boring with only two or three styles of houses. These have character to spare.

Great looking homes. The city has replaced the sidewalks too. Definitely nice to see these great neighborhoods in the city. One house at a time for the comeback. Great video.

I lived on Balfour in the early 80's. Pristine neighborhood. This still looks pretty good. That's what happens when people take pride, where they live. They keep it clean

Gorgeous! I am tired of the blight videos too. This neighborhood reminds me of the MaryGrove / Bagley area I grew up in, in the 70's and 80's.

I like viewing the nicer neighborhoods as well. It’s fun imagining who might be the original owners were and how it was to live in these homes in the 40s-50’s even the 60’s. These are such pretty neighborhoods that have been kept up. Love you driving through them!

Sadly your right about the ruin porn getting more views however duggan has been aggressive with blight removal and alot of that is disappearing......or in some cases being renovated

Love that East English neighbourhood- there’s a lot of homes here in New Zealand that look very similar - pre World War Two era. Middle class homes

I have seen your comments before on other channels. Stay away from those false videos showing Detroit. Stay with Frank and see the real Detroit.

is there any footage of the new houses on fischer street with no driveways and garage facing alley for $450,000, plus all that new sidewalk puts a lien on the homes, i wonder why they do part of the driveways and private walk going to the front door

I don't think this neighborhood ever became run down like other Detroit neighborhoods.

Yep. charlebo just wants clicks on negative crap - that for the most part is old and outdated crap. Always look for the negative as opposed to the positive.

Yep 😂 there are even prettier areas than this in Detroit, like Indian Village ...Sheerwood forest ... Boston Edison and others

@@mikeslaton6498 You are so right on. I have seen those videos. Most of what he posted on social media are outdated and no longer exist, yet is still being shown as if those homes are still there.

Exiting bankruptcy in 2014, there were 85,000 blighted structures. Detroit has since razed 60,000+. That works out to 16 per day. By the end of 2024, the remaining unsecured houses will be privately owned. So thanks, and yes, the Detroit ruins internet has become a mix of old clips and pockets of ruin that still exist, but those pockets are numbered.
