@Griffinmc It's not a lack of support, its a strategy. Pretty sure Harris hasn't endorsed him either. Why? Because he's trying to flip a red senate seat in a red state. Her endorsement of him would hurt him, not help him. If he was running against a republican in a blue state, then yeah, endorsements both ways would likely happen.
With all that said, that's why Hawley was so desperate to get Kunce to endorse Harris. Hawley hates that people are listening to Kunce, when perhaps they wouldn't if he endorsed Harris and Hawley was able to drown him out with attacks against Harris, insisting Kunce was an extension of her and not his own person.

Yea this is frustrating to me how she keeps pushing the question. She clearly wants him to say he's supporting Harris. But Dems lose the big picture when they try to force candidates in red states to endorse her. All this does is risk losing him votes and with the uphill battle Democrats have in the Senate this year, we simply cannot do that. I don't know why she keeps pushing him on this, it's only going to hurt him - and ultimately Kamala Harris if she wins the presidency but loses Congress.

Some people love to vote for IEDs. They view DEI has an evil and then go out and vote for a IED. Hawley, Matt Gaetz, Donald Trump are all IEDs. IEDs in office is what got us in this mess. It was the IEDs that enacted Jim Crow, it was IEDs that instituted CRT thru our the country. It was an IED that decided you need a college degree to teach a first grader to count to 10. It was an IED that decided you need a college degree to work in local, state and federal offices. Why? because it was their way of keeping black and brown people from getting positions they wanted their children to have, without working for it. The Heritage Foundation in staffed with 90% IEDs, more than 1/3 of the Senate is staffed with IEDs. This is exactly why they want to get rid of DEI so that the IEDs can continue to run this country.

In 1969 we were poised to dump the Electoral College under a broad bi-partisan agreement including both Nixon and Johnson BUT the measure was fillibustered by segregationist southern members of Congress who objected to the fact that a black vote might equal a white vote. Fillibuster must go.

I can understand the fine line he is walking in this state and Lord knows no state needs Josh Hawley making decisions for it. He did state he is fighting against all of the awful policies of 2025 and only one of two presidential candidates is named over three hundred times in the 2025 book so asked and answered.

As a Missouri born guy, (born in Truman's home town) I fully support Lucas Kunce for his senate candidacy, even though I don't live there now. I'm very disappointed, however, in Mr. Kunce for not publicly throwing his support to Harris over a monster like Trump. Seems a little fishy.
Missouri is presidentially a deep red state, Kunce can't win sans split-ticket-voting, distancing yourself from the top of your party's ticket is standard operating procedure for senators who live in non-competitively partisan states.

I would agree that he has a right to keep his privacy over who he supports, however I heard the Harris campaign has been giving millions to down ballot Democratic candidates and I doubt he didn’t take any money. That said being that he is running in Missouri I understand he wants to keep his distance from the Harris campaign and I get the feeling Harris/Waltz are supportive of that.
As an independent I was going to donate money to his campaign but now he can find local non affiliated donations. I wish him well and I hope he wins. I'm voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.

If I was a candidate, I would not go on NBC. I would not go on any major news network. None of this was about journalism. I think its clear he is voting for VP Harris he probably doesnt want to choose just to show ALL Missourians he is going to work for all of them. He will anyway but the republicans or MAGA in that state will take it as he is against them. Because people have become so divided.

I wished you would have stopped pushing him in the Harris question. We need this guy in Missouri. Saying out loud that he will vote for Harris could cost him the election. I know that sounds silly, but in Missouri, it is true. We desperately need him to replace Halley.
We know why he won't endorse - because he is playing politics so he won't alienate Republicans who might vote for him. But it goes without saying that people don't expect him to vote for Trump. His endorsement doesn't mean much if anything.

I kinda think the thing that is going to help Kunce is that he is going to get votes from republicans who were turned away by Hawley's incredibly blatant racism. Also, the big issue Hawley has campaigned on is immigration, and Kunce literally served as border security.
