What is the difference between the orange and red wires? The white wire is the positive wire coming in from the battery. However, why are there 2 wires (orange and red) going to the forward and reverse shifter, rather than just 1 wire?

What if at the back of the pedal there is only 2 wires?
Car is: Ford F650 i believe is the name
Then this product won't work.
