    This video was extremely bad informed! In October 2021, the Norwegian Supreme Court ruled that the construction of the massive turbine park has violated human rights ! The land of the Sami people ,has jet again been stolen from them. The turbines should never have been built. The verdict was made over 500 days ago, still nothing has been done, and the park is still running. This is a violation on human rights, and a major breach of trust with our government and our justice system. That’s why Greta among so many others are protesting.

      @@habibikebabtheiii2037 thank you for being so restful with your reply, not everyone is. I have some Sami friends who still rely on reindeer herding and want to keep their culture alive. Unfortunately they keep losing more of their lands even though they haven't overpopulated their areas. It's because of overpopulation and the believed need for constant economic growth that so-called civilized societies feel they have the right to take more and more from the lands and the reason indigenous lands keep getting smaller. This forces indigenous peoples to give up their cultural practices and become integrated into the larger dominant societies. This I believe is truly unfair. In my area of Canada we are facing the same problems (I'm an Inuk from Labrador).

      @@billygauthier9512 but Sami and the Nordic belong to the land. Both are losing land to international elite to fuel GDP. It's the same everywhere. This is the reason for mass migration too. For instance in France makes everyone speak french while trying to make the country more ethnically diverse while no native languages of France or culture is protected. The only culture recognized by the government is Parisian. Diversity is only a strength if people have different skin color according to the french. This is all in aid to a mono culture in the future. I would suggest reading "a brave new world ". I believe the future the modern elite want is not far off from that book.

    • @Feralfoundry
      @Feralfoundry ปีที่แล้ว

      They can't avoid the turbines. They are animals and do not understand why these giant things throw off huge bouts of vibration through the earth and air that signal there's danger in that area. The vibrations are like the ones you feel at a loud concert. They will not be convinced to feel safe or that the thousands of acres that they use for food are safe. They will just starve or die trying to find someplace else where they can be safe. Electro magnetic pulses can knock out all power cars, trains, houses, phones, everything. The air and ground vibrations of wind turbines act like EMPs on the senses of animals- imagine walking along and suddenly you can't see, hear, and vertigo has overwhelmed your senses. That's what happens to the animals. And these pulses radiate over a huge area so there's no way to know they're entering the area until they are affected by it and by then, they can not escape it. It is a torturous death.

    To be fair, she has a point on this.
    Wind turbines scare animals.
    Samis rely on reindeer.
    That’s literally what you call displacement of a people.
    Norway has other slabs of land to use. Sami lands are not the only one around.

    • @knrst9061
      @knrst9061 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can actually find reindeer chilling under the turbines here. But thats an even bigger reason not to build them as ice gathers on the blades.
      Big pieces of ice gets thrown long distances.

    I'm with her all the way. It is ridiculous and provocative! To be building wind turbines on indigenous land affecting the natives of that land, it's criminal. I never took the Norway govt and its corporations to be irresponsible, perverse and mean-spirited; those characteristics I usually reserve for the UK government and the billionaires they represent!
