I know you just finished this series Delirious, but the “Clickers” (which are indeed blind) use their voices to eco-locate. When they scream in a direction which you have witnessed them doing, the sound is carrying to the nearest surface which in this case is you standing in front of them. 32:15 They use sound as a sense of direction. Tess and Joel explained in the beginning to Ellie that when a Clicker starts coming near you to be completely quiet and still but when they start clicking/ making a noise to get down and hide.
Fr though. I bought after delirious and played it through on grounded already. I was so mad when delirious made it last the Seattle gate with two molotovs. I tried a million times because I had an arrow, shotgun shell and rifle shot. That's it. It kept not giving my arrow back and not giving me any ammo
About the astronaut comment the astronauts will be delivered to the ISS (international space station) by the space crafts. Assuming the crafts have not been damaged. The ISS has enough supplies such as food, water,etc to last until complete evacuation. In the zombie apocalypse they wouldn’t have comms to ground control unless they were warned before ground control had to evacuate. So they would probably have a very rough idea of the condition of the planet. They would likely stay in orbit for some time to figure out exactly how to go about reentry and landing. They are trained to pilot the capsules. As long as they aren’t damaged they should be able to come back down to earth. They would touch down wherever they decided would be safest. Of course once landed and no unfortunate accidents happen during landing, there is no medical on standby (it’s the apocalypse) so they would have to get used to earths gravity on their own which would take some time. Once they gained their strength they would have to take breaks from walking every now and again.
