I was a child myself when I met Vernon in Dec 1976, but will never forget that nor Elvis’ performance. Never forgot that beautiful face Elvis had. Breathtaking. I also saw Lisa in the Hilton lobby running towards her nanny who was waiting outside, and Lisa waved bye at (who now I know was Ginger), and when she stood at the booth to say hi to the audience. I love that Elvis loved animals so! I owned a Maltese just like Lisa’s. What a funny story and heartwarming story! Please keep it coming. I toured Graceland once, in 2011. While walking through it was fun to imagine all the people living there, and busy activity going on back in the day there. Made me wonder - was it always clean and orderly, or was it messy and more like a lived in home (like my home was growing up with 5 other siblings). Hard to picture it messy when I've only walked through it as a museum (by messy I mean like shoes on floor, soda cans/dirty dishes on coffee table, toys scattered about, etc.). Did Elvis like things neat/cleaned daily, or more relaxed about the messes? Thank you!
