Why are people so hard on Data East pinballs? It was the late 80's to early 90's that they made their machines, their machines themes were fitting of that time period. I actually like the up-beat sound tracks. Also they were the first to do DMD displays, so you can't criticise them for the small displays, no other pins had them. They were also the first for stereo sound and the first for solid state flippers. They put Williams to shame on the build quality

I used to work for Data East. This is one of the machines I worked on, circa 1992. Data East is now a defunct company

What did you do when you were working in this game?

Hey Larry, spot on with the screen, it would be good if it was the right size as well! That moving target has to be hit to get the last Dilithium crystal to get the ramp to lift for multiball, there are 9 different inserts next to stand-ups and roll-overs to get to start it. The rest of the time it just gets in the way or breaks down! It’s a bit like the goal keeper in WCS94 but more annoying as it’s running all the time! Cheers, Matt.

Hi, it wasn’t me, honest! I’m not a shaker when I play, something was happening with my camera when the flashers went off, I think it’s because there wasn’t enough background light!

Chill my friend, the target is fine, for some reason the video jumps it is not he (me) shaking, you’re right about one thing though, not much about me is normal behaviour!!! Hugs.

I'm usually a fan of the DE sound but admittedly this one does sound like one continuous 'hurry-up' mode!

He shakes it so much that the entire room (look at the background) gets shaken as well, eh :-D ...

I noticed you were shaking the machine during Unlimited Millions mode. Is that a trick? 'Cause you almost got a billion!

Don't they always? Hook, Star Wars, Lethal Weapon, ... the speed is always that fast in the music.

this machine has an malfunction.. i think the moveable target its contacting the whole time... during play.. and he shaked indeed. he knew of the malfunction during play... as he shakes the machine..to get the center target to hit.. its an cheat to play further.. in these circumstances.. this is NOT normal behaviour
