Visalia, California HD 720p

If you grew up in Visalia, you might have already heard these stories. However, as a transplant from San Diego, and as a teacher who has to teach local history, I had to make this video! Doing the video is as much as creating a tool for my 4th grade classroom as it was a learning process, forcing me to learn some interesting facts about Visalia, California. We are the Gateway to the Sequoias, but for many people, this land was the gateway to gold, the gateway to farming, the gateway to affordable housing. (Yeah, that last one was me.)
