Areas like Chilas and tattapani are perfect places not only for geothermal energy but for generating steam and supplying it to households for heating as well. Baqi wohi baat hai ke you need a shaft that can be rotated somehow. So you just need to have an idea to generate that rotation and then electricity can be generated.
