    An arithmetic sequence or progression is defined as a sequence of numbers in which for every pair of consecutive terms, the second number is obtained by adding a fixed number to the first one.

    till now i used to make use of arithmetic progression's formula here...this makes it so easy!! like if the examiner asks to find out average of all the numbers divisible by 5 between 9 to 99..i just have to do dis...10+95/2..right..thanks a lot..keep making such vdos...tooo good

      to find out average of all the numbers divisible by 5 between 9 to 99, then the numbers would be 10,15,20......95, so because its numbers with difference of 5 the formula would be (First term + last term ) divided by 2

    (2:00) if we replace(3,6,9,12) to (3, 1,1,1) and apply arthmetic and median formula then answer is not equal ?

      How 7 ÷ 2 come

    • @filippoiguera3224
      @filippoiguera3224 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@prayertime4971 because if you are looking for the median in a set with an even number of values, you will not be able to find the precise value in the center (because they are even!), so you will do the average of the two "central values"

    How first term + last term/2 = mean?

    • @CrOnOsshecatoncheires

      coz u can cut 117 in 114+3 then u add 108+3, u got 2 times 111 and 114
      105 111 114 114 111 120
      u can rule out the 114 and 111 coz the Arithmetic Mean of (111+111)/2 =111 and the median of 111 and 111 is 111
      same for 114
      u're left with 105 and 120
