As a musician, this is awesome! a 21st centry dance organ! I love the way the instrument is controlled by MIDI and has pre recorded vocals over the top of the live organ, well done Decap. Also love the way the pipes light up when they play, nice touch, sounds like there's a Hammond organ in there too
You seem to have a problem with organ operating systems Organ Alley. It matters not how the programme is stored, it is simply a means to play the instrument. The composition of the voices in the organ remain the same, all that is different is that the instructions for the organ are stored using different mediums be it roll, card, or chip. Also midi is much, much cheaper than card and takes up less space in the back. Having said all this, I think the arrangements apart from the last tune in the melody and however they are stored, are rubbish. A different noteur would have shown the organ in a better light.
sorry but I hate this organ...its not even a real organ in my view and it seems to be playing midi files or CD's rather than books. I wish the 89 Key Limonaire was out more than this hideous thing!

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. :)
I really really really want one, I would take it to street fairs, carnivals, even the flea market
this is amazing
Great Video
Helga is an early Electronic Frans Decap (now Decap Herentals) built before the digital revolution.
Helga is not a Decap Herentals organ, Helga was build by Dick Gillet
