This is not Bulacan Hymn. This is "Makulay na Bulakenyo", theme song of the Singkaban Festival. There is a Himno ng Bulacan composed by Jacinto Garcia with lyrics by Mandy Centeno. It was adopted in a provincial ordinance enacted during the time of Gov. Josie Dela Cruz, and was apparently composed during the term of Gov. Obet Pagdanganan. May mga lyrics sa Internet although di ako makakita ng music sheet or recording. Strangely enough, I haven't heard it being performed during flag ceremonies and government programs (virtual man o on the ground). Mas ginagamit nila either itong Makulay na Bulakenyo, the DepEd Bulacan March (for public schools), or "Bulakenyo, Dangal ng Lahi." I'm also quite curious what happened kaya di na ginagamit ang Bulacan Hymn nina Garcia and Centeno. Addendum: May nakapagpakita sa akin na may recording ng Himno ng Bulacan sa album na "Himig-sikan" ng Bulacan Brass Band. Hindi ko lamang alam kung may digitized recording ang casette na ito.
