The problem is that James changes from being emotional to arrogant and that doesn´t work. JP should have told James why he slept with Ste and all the doubts he had about their relationship in the past. There are always important pieces missing in the conversation that never comes out. I don´t think that James wanted to kill Mercedes but wanted to confront her and hurt her but then he saw Grace and there was this spur of the moment when you feel really angry and hurt and the reasonable sense goes away.
I feel so sorry for James until he was holding like an alcohol while George saw John Paul with him and he was arrested for assault him after he confronts John Paul about him, but I hope he's gonna choose between him and PC George Kiss on the show and I can't wait for Ste is returns back real soon!!
From the scene with the ex it seems like George was abusive in their relationship, so my guess is, that he is gonna be that to John Paul as well, and maybe it's gonna get hard to proove because he is a police man, and maybe Mercedes and James are one of the few/or one of the first to believe him/see through the act and save him.
It seems like it was more about emotional abuse where some people begin pushing everyone else away from their intended love and demanding more attention from them to prove if they love them. The happenings such constant psychological brainwashing creates a twisted sense of knowing it is not right but also the same of loving them, as we saw with the guy he met.

From the scene with the ex it seems like George was abusive in their relationship, so my guess is, that he is gonna be that to John Paul as well, and maybe it's gonna get hard to proove because he is a police man, and maybe Mercedes and James are one of the few/or one of the first to believe him/see through the act and save him.

It seems like it was more about emotional abuse where some people begin pushing everyone else away from their intended love and demanding more attention from them to prove if they love them. The happenings such constant psychological brainwashing creates a twisted sense of knowing it is not right but also the same of loving them, as we saw with the guy he met.

I have the slightest idea about what can happen. In the Hollyoaks trailer we all saw how John Paul was crying over a body bag and my theory will be that PC Kiss will have something to do with that. And that James will be the one whose inside the body bag.
