You are a Barnabas ; Son of Encouragement . God Bless you.
Thank you for building me up, Fr Mike, with these homilies.
How beautiful! Thanks for the reminder of how blessed we are but also that we need to share our blessings with others.
God hear my prayers this Mother’s Day. Having two sons with special needs is overwhelming at times because they require so much from me. As a single mother things are difficult. I keep faith in you Jesus even as I struggle to pay rent, and as I struggle to buy groceries for my sons. Every month is a battle. I want to give up yet God gives me strength. Faith is my strength.❤️❤️
Thank you Father
Thank you for this beautiful homily, perfect timing. There is nothing wrong with being the "Barnabas" in other people's lives. Viva Cristo Rey 👑 Ave María 📿

BINGO! Father Mike hit the nail on the head: Gifts and talents we are given are always for somebody else. I am a retiring math prof, and I realized during a grad school math lecture that knowing how to write an algebra proof was much like masturbating. Yup. Pleasurable to me because I "got it" but helpful to no one else. I was surrounded in my social circle by people who were actively helping people, and I realized how much more I admired those people than I did the math prof at the board who was passionately writing a proof of something I do not even remember. I decided I would get a degree in education so I could help someone. Being a broken human, I have not always been helpful, but everyday I pray that the Holy Spirit will enable me to "feed the sheep." Occasionally, God lets me know I succeeded and I know true happiness at that moment...the only time I experience true happiness. God bless all of you.
I agree with what you stated. I too am a broken fella trying to get closer to GOD's will for me by serving his church on earth.
Lord I thank you for my family and patience on this mother's day I am grateful for the in person service I was able to attend and listening to Father Mike speak as well online ❤ .
I'm sorry your students don't know their priest-uncle better. My uncle is a priest but to me, he's my uncle first. He's was always wonderful at playing games with us when we were little. As we got older he would take us to the movie theater and on canoe trips. Even now, when I see him we talk about music and cars and just about life. If I'm talking to others who know him, I still always refer to him as "my uncle, Fr..." Because that's what he is for me. My uncle.
Sp awesome .my mother died peaceful and that has stayed with me always. Thank you Father. God bless you and your mom
Lord help me to discern my gift and grace to use them
My term as an RCIA facilator had ended, please help me to discern which ministry you are calling me .

You are our Ted lasso
I love your sermons father.. I'm from South Africa.. You are truly a man of God
Beautiful inspiring homily. Thank you Father Mike.
Thank you for this excellent homily! So often when we think of "encouragers" who build up others, we think of the professionals: Priests, clergy, teachers, coaches and others. You have reminded us that it is our responsibility too. Thank you!
You are an encourager. Praying for the gifts. Allow me to build others up. Amen.
God gave the world to Adam. The world belongs to Man. We must spread the Kingdom. It's our duty and honor.

My Uncle was a priest. We were very close. He was my spiritual advisor 😊🙏🏻
If your local Church / Diocese has active people and culture be a part of it, make the most of it...
locally in S. Australia people just walk in and out and then its the cold wind.. make the most of it, its not everywhere
Beautiful!
I am so grateful I stumbled upon this today. Thank you father for building me up. I pray the lord help me do the same
Powerful ❤
What human builds you up Fr Mike? I know God does. ✝️
Hallo Fr. Mike, thanks for the beautiful and insightful spirtual teachings... May you be blessed abundantly in your vocation. Fr. i have only one concern, i love so much listening to you but i also struggle to follow up because you are very first in you speaking .. kindly reduce your speed a bit....
Our youth group is trying to raise money to go to camp but we are a small church in a little town of Summerville sc and the youth can’t seem to raise much money so I ask for prayers for parishioners to donate or sponsor a child in high school to be able to go to Steubenville in Atlanta GA through Christ Our Lord Amen
This is my point of contention. The Catholic Church has “ungodly” amounts of money. Why is money a priority?
@@robertsimmons8249 the church is already paying for the hotel and bus which if you haven’t heard all those prices are inflated thanks to our economy right now.

Wow, Father, what a marvelous Homily. Thanks.
And, as a Brazilian, living here in São Paulo, and watching your vídeos frequentjy, I need to ask you an important thing: speak just a little bit slowe, please…
I make comic book content on here and I'm also a Christian 😀
I'm favoured, $22,000 every week! I can now give back to the locals in my community and also support God's work and the church. God bless America.
It's Elizabeth Regina Nelsen doing she's changed my life. A BROKER- like her is what you need.
Though I started with as low as $1,000 actually because it was my first time and it was successful, she is a great personality I must say.
My gift to you but not for you 🙏
Father, you should just let the beard grow, it would match your wisdom
Don't just set your financial goals without consulting a financial advisor. Their expertise ensures a solid plan for success. Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly setting aside money in intervals for smart investments.
Thanks!
❤
Thank you Fr. Mike for another loving homily!!
One of the “corporal works of mercy” is to instruct the ignorant!!
Thank you Jesus!
God bless you!!🙏🏻❤️🕊🌟🎶🌹💝
