Thanks you for your videos. Are you sure it can work without bluetooth? I have an X1 and the USB-C cable I think is just for charging, at least I can only pair the X1 in the app or browser extension, only through Bluetooth
For sure you can disable Bluetooth. And to update the firmware I connect it to my computer. I’m double checking to see if I can transact using the cable however! Thanks!
What do you think about the banking system for the SafePal? I know Tangem was planning to do the same after testing in the UK, but this also looks interesting.
I have a Ledger Nano S and planning to move to Safepal X1. So, I just put my old 24 phrase Ledger seed key while setting up X1 (set up exiting wallet option) and all my assets will be moved to X1? Or I have to set up X1 as a new wallet and manually transfer all my assets?
Yes you can import your 24 word seed phrase into the X1 and continue managing all the crypto you were managing on your Nano S. The only exception would be if Safepal doesn’t support one of the coins you hold, so it’s worth checking that. Your crypto will always be attached to your seed phrase, but if a wallet doesn’t support a certain coin, you just won’t be able to manage it.
@@cyberscrilla Thanks for the prompt response. Most of the asset which I have is supported by Safepal. The one which I have my doubts about is HBAR. You know if this is supported by X1?
Can you please make a video on how to transfer all of your crypto from Ledger to an airgapped wallet? I recently purchased Ellitan Titan 2.0. But I'm afraid I'll do something wrong with the transfer and I end up losing everything.
How do you connect it to something? Like a phone? A PC? And what is that interface like? Can I trust it? Why do all these wallet reviewers skip this part? If we're looking up videos like this we don't know this stuff.
He did say in the video that you use the safepal app in either your phone or pc and you can connect via bluetooth or the usb C cable, I understand where you come from but cyberscrilla's videos are mostly for people that already know what a hardware wallet is and are looking for which one to buy since there are a ton of brands. The interface is very similar to most hot wallets, you can actually use it without a hardware wallet, you can download it on either pc or mobile from their web page, create a wallet and try it for yourself; of course if you end up buying one, don't use the wallet you already created with the software wallet, create a new one on the device and never put the seed phrase on a computer or any device, keep it safe on a paper or for extra protection (to fire and stuff like that) on one of those metal things someplace secure. About if you can trust it: the app is decentralized and open source, you are the only one in control of your keys, of course always be careful to which sites you connect it or what provider you choose for swapping, and specially what contracts you sign.

Hello there, I just got my Safepal X1, I have imported my seed from the trezor device I own but on Trezor I have multiple accounts on some tokens (particularly, some LTC accounts, that have different derivation paths, m/84'/2'/0' and m/84'/2'/1'), it finds the main account with derivation path m/84'/2'/0' but not the other one. Does the Safepal X1 support different derivation paths? How to add an account with a different derivation path, if it's possible?
It should. In the Safepal App try this: 1. Tap the token you need to modify (LTC). 2. When you open LTC, above the token icon it says Legacy with an option to copy it. Tap "Legacy" to change it. 3. Set it to Native SegWit and your tokens should be there. Here’s more info about SafePal’s derivation paths: docs.safepal.io/report-a-bug/derivation-paths-supported-by-safepal-1
@@cyberscrilla yes I have it on Native Segwit, but it shows only the amount I have on the account with m/84'/2'/0' derivation path (the default one). I have another account under the same seedphrase on a Native Segwit account with derivation path m/84'/2'/1'. It doesn't seem to support that (bip32)
You can create an unlimited number of wallets (with a new seed phrase) using the X1, but you can only manage one at a time. Alternatively, you can use the Passphrase feature to create multiple hidden wallets under one mnemonic phrase. This makes it easier to switch between wallets.
The size of the charging cable is hideous. Especially because you cannot use it unless you are plugged in. If the wallet is not plugged in, it doesn't work. The cable is so short that you basically have to be on the floor to use it.
WHY IS IT SO DIFFICULT TO JUST BUY ONE?🤷🤦🤦🤦 I CANT EVEN PUT MY VISA CARD TO BUT THIS, PLUS IT IS DIFFICULT TO BUY A COIN BECAUSE THE WALLETS Don't SUPPORT VISA, I DO NOT KNOW WHY THIS IS BUT PLEASE MAKE A VIDEO ON HOW TO BUY ONE OF THESE COLD SAFE PALE WALLETS MAN
