Brilliant performance that brings out the brilliance of Hindemith's composition, but shifting back and forth between concert and rehearsal visuals is distracting.
@@RomanMints Well first of all, as a violinist I really liked your performance. I just recently started listening to Hindemith's four sonatas for violin and piano because I only knew of solo sonatas for each instrument. I really love the way you played 3rd movement! As to the recording - someone below said that shifting between a very close view and then the audience view was rather distracting. In my opinion camera here is a bit rapid and I really dislike the "from behind your head" shot. It shows a little of your bow management and pretty much nothing of finger movement (which is one of the most satisyfying things to observe when someone plays) For example - I really like how Kavakos&Wang recordings are made. Especially Schumann or Respighi sonatas. The camera is really subtle, It takes its time to show you everything. I hope everything I said is understandable. Sorry to be this nitpicky, but after all - an enjoyable recording for sure.
@@luxio6765 Thanks again! So, you don’t like the way video was shut, I thought you are talking about the sound recording. Anyway, as long as you did enjoy the music, our goal has been achieved!
... very good ... finally a violin that doesn't just know how to "cry"
Amazing performance!!! And the idea of the video of performance and rehearsal mix together is great!! Bravo!!
Thank you 🙏

Brillant playing but an
awkward recording.
Thank you! In what way do you think the recording is awkward?
