With the baby trapping one, I would definitely tell the "boyfriend". If she were to get pregnant it wouldn't only effect them, but the child being brought into that toxic situation. It will be life changing.
Agreed, she has nothing to lose since they are already no contact but the boyfriend deserves to know.
They could send him a letter through his regiment (if they know it) that anonymously warns him of her plans. Keeps them out of the backlash, but alerts him to the problem.

Especially if he's in the military, having a baby without being married could possibly get him separated depending on what branch he's in & since they're not married no benefits for the baby

my first thought when listening to the first story: perfect time to ask for that raise
I know I'm late to this episode but for the 1st story I think it's important for people to know that if their affair is affecting your work you have every right to go to HR. If your boss is treating you differently address it first in person but if they persist then go to HR. Also take notice if your boss is giving their assistant unfair treatment, I.e. letting them leave early or giving them long lunch hours or inappropriate pay raises. In no company should the boss be dating their staff, it is a conflict of interest and totally inappropriate because of the power imbalance. If they are giving special treatment that is also another reason to notify HR.
For the young sister with the Pot secret, I would say get her testing kits for the Pot to make sure it isn’t laced. Assist her in being as safe as possible. You don’t want her to hide it as that only heightens the danger she won’t come to you if there is a large issue. Educate her without being judgmental.

yes. that is perfect. i cannot even begin to imagine the amount of lives we have lost due to laced drugs. it would be so beneficial to be able to speak to a parent or loved one, regarding the drugs we may do and concerns we may have. i agree that a testing kit would be the best and safest idea. great solution!!!
The woman in the open relationship needs to drop that guy. He’s a cheater, because the other woman believes they’re monogamous but he is cheating on her with OP. Open relationships take complete trust and he’s already betrayed her trust multiple times, and clearly has no respect for either woman.
Exactly, a huge part of an open relationship is open honest communication with all involved.
An open relationship is only an open relationship if everyone involved is aware of that fact. If one person is not aware that the other is seeing other people, it's not an open relationship.
8:22 THIS! Pretend that you think he's innocent and make him feel guilty. If he blackmails you, go go HR. Be ready to document anything at any time whenever you talk to him- preferably by audio if one sided consent is legal in that state.
For the first story, if it happened to me. I would unfriend someone if they didn't tell me they saw my spouse out at dinner when it looks like they are cheating.
If they don't know the spouses and saw their boss cheating with the assistant then you don't have to say anything. But I would agree that you need to discuss it with the boss if work gets weird after. It should not change your relationship at work.

Some of this unfortunately I just totally disagree with…if you love that young kid and you know she’s doing something to hurt herself, I feel like it’s 100% a necessity to make the parent aware.
And with the baby-trapping/what is now called “sexual coercion”…if the roles were reversed and it were a WOMAN who was being “trapped”, I think we’d all agree she deserved to know. I think the same goes for the guy here.

As a person that's been polyamorous for 10 years, bringing in a new partner that is not consenting to the open relationship style dynamic is 100% unacceptable in any form of Ethical Non-Monogamy. There are many different forms of very healthy open relationships, this story of OP lying about his gf is not one of them.
Well I personally disagree I actually think she does have an obligation to tell her boyfriends sisters boyfriend that she’s about to baby trap him it would be evil not to you could essentially ruin his life even if I saw a stranger on the street and I found out his girlfriend was about to baby trap him I would still let him know so it seems absurd she even have to think twice about letting the boyfriend know . I mean it would be no different if you heard a group of people about the how that night they were gunna commit various crime against innocent people you would obviously informed the cops so why is this no different.ps love the podcast ✌🥰

I agree, that child will have to deal with the consequences too. Bringing a life into this world is a big deal and ideally should be something both people want and have agreed upon.
Imagine if it were reversed. Let’s say they knew the boyfriend was planning on slipping off the condom without her knowing and trying to get her pregnant. She would absolutely deserve to be told. So yeah I think he definitely needs to be told, babies are life changing.

I worked at a credit union. Dad should NOT tell the sister beforehand. You would be surprised how quickly someone can come in and empty the account. We would have spouses come in once a separation/divorce is started and find that the account was emptied 20 minutes prior. Money is sensitive and causes people to do crazy things. Best of luck!

If I was the girl in the baby trap situation. In a group setting I would bring up kids & get the sister talking then once she does I’d be like “aren’t you off birth control?” To give him the hint. I don’t honk manipulating a conversation is the right thing to do but at times it is

I would tell the boyfriend about the baby trapping. It's so wrong to try and force someone to have a child with you. Birthcontrol in relationships should be discussed as a couple. I'm sorry but, then there is going to be an unwanted child in the situation. It's not about the man whose facing consequences its about that innocent little baby.

The first one, with the boss and the assistant, I've been the one who saw an affair between my ex boss and his secretary. They didnt know i had seen them kiss. I kept my mouth shut, and of course it all came out shortly there after and they were exposed by her husband. Since I had told no one what I saw, I didn't get any blowback or drama and was able to escape unscathed. I'm so glad I just minded my business, because it got UGLY for everyone involved. And don't worry, the cheaters got what they had coming. Sometimes, just let karma do her work.
Another reason I stayed silent, the secretary had a violent past, and I wasn't putting myself in danger over something that didn't involve me.
I want to know in the polygamous relationship story- Does this guy have a lot of money?!? Because that’s the only reason why I see fit she could sit there and deal with polygamy just to keep a guy in her life. If he doesn’t financially provide for her then why tf is she with him?.. I don’t even think that she even want to be polygamous..she’s doing it for him.

1st just act like it didn’t happen. Stay out of it! None of your business! It is awkward. Make it chill and ride out the awkward phase.
On the friends who like the same guy, I think we are assuming that 1) the guy wants to date the friend and 2) that the friend would get over the issue with the date that already happened. I can see it going terribly for many reasons if she advocates for both of them trying to date the guy, amongst it is getting rejected when asked out or not being picked after the date happens. Either way it adds another layer of hurt to an already shitty situation. The write in has the right to date who ever she wants and people can’t call dibs on other people, but the directness should have been before she asked for the date. You’re telling me after having to cancel once for these issues, you didn’t give your friend a heads up?
I would talk to my friend, let her know that it’s only been one date. If it works out then hope they can still be friends. If it doesn’t, hope that they can still be friends, and her friend has her permission to try and date the guy (again assuming he’s interested).
But she has to be prepared for the friendship being over regardless, I just think adding on a sense of competition/pick me won’t help this dynamic.
The story about the girl who’s worried abt her sister smoking pot, all I can say is no, personally, I would not tell the parents but I would be there for her. Make sure she doesn’t let it become her whole life. Technically no you can’t be ‘addicted’ to pot but you can build a dependency to it especially if you’re depressed or have other mental issues but it is not a fix all. Make sure she can still enjoy life sober and doesn’t always need to be high to find happiness. And make sure she knows who she’s buying from, especially carts and wax if she ever gets into that. I recently had a uncle die of an overdose to fentanyl and I would hate to hear abt a little girl who over dosed bc no one thought to make sure what she was smoking or eating was okay. Any drug and any addiction (including food, exercise, etc) can affect you in negative if you don’t have some sort of moderation I hope she’s doing okay and wish a long and healthy life on them all.
The first story you didn't consider the power dynamic between the boss and their assistant that is a completely inappropriate relationship even if they are both single and should absolutely be reported to HR.
How about if they are both single you mind your own business.

Is it me, Or does jerry give you the ick. No matter what the subject is He turns it Around about him And how wonderful he is. He makes the cohost Whoever It may be , Answer 1st and then he takes their answer and Then twist it About how wonderful he is. Or he just simply takes Their answer It makes it his own. It's comical.. I watch because I enjoy the stories. And usually Morgan or Justin are on with him. And I like watching them.. But Jerry drives me up a wall. All this advice come and he's never been married.. But but I understand why.. Sorry Not trying to be mean. I can't help who Gives me the ick. And I have tried. It's every episode , it's all about him and how wonderful he is. Ugggggh
