@@DemonEdge82 I think he’s the best fight in the game simply because no other boss in the game has a moveset as diverse and badass looking as this one. I do agree that he is quite cheaply designed but there aren’t really any other bosses in this game that can compete with him. There were only like 4 bosses in this game that I genuinely enjoyed fighting and one of them was this boss.
This boss is balls hard. Tried to solo him yesterday and took me the whole night. But once you figure out the timing of his swings, he becomes manageable. The devs clearly took some notes from Elden Ring because they made his swings have some unnatural timings and pauses. He's extremely weak to poison and can interrupt his combos when it procs the status so it's super helpful.
Nice one! I still haven't beaten this guy yet. Wanted to ask what does the roar spell do? I saw you pull it out a few times - does it buff in some way?
Nice fight my frienNice fight my friend. The first phase was good. The second phase you suffered a little but very well anyway. Do you know that after 800 hours of Wo Long, only with your video I discovered that there are martial arts that throw halberds??? ehheheh.. I signed up.
Yeah on my first playthrough I chose to main the halberds because I got one with the throw halberd martial art and that martial art carried me because although the martial art does barely any damage (it does like 12 damage or something) it does a ton of spirit damage so it was great for just spamming at a distance and filling up their spirit bar to max in a couple of seconds which allowed me to get a free fatal strike.
Yeah, I just beat him this morning after being stuck on him for a few hrs as well. Tough boss that I don’t think was designed too well.

He’s very susceptible to anything Earth and the rock pillars spell as well.

Roar gives you extra defense. It’s a bigger defense buff than enhance defense but the downside is it makes enemies more aggressive towards you.
