Well... personally i wouldn't pick it either, but i think Hunter's a special case. They need to be as agressive as possible and Hydra offers just that. Play a slower card and the game might just be over. So picking Hydra in an (agressive) Hunter deck is a wise choice in my opinion.
Todays sick Topdecks: 6:46 Frothing Berserker on curve with 2 minons on the board 9:47 Mortal Strike to kill the Cult Master 13:00 Firelands Portal on curve 18:48 Polymorph answer 19:52 Volcanosaur with Taunt and not spelltargetable
Kripp had 6 in hand +1 draw and he had 4 minions on the board.... In Arena you shouldn't try to mill your opponnent because it's rare to play until fatigue and you fill your opponnents hand. Also card draw is really good in Arena because you normally want boardcontrol.
I'd agree for every class except Hunter. Bittertide is amazing if you get early board control(which you should have playing aggro). If you get unlucky and your opponent goes first with a 1-drop your chances of being able to play it on an open board is much lower. If you can get just one hit to face your chances of winning are high with Hunter.
> Has Savannah Highmane and Bittertide Hydra on hand > Against a Shaman > On turn 6 > Plays the Hydra and blames RNG Come on, Krip! You're way better than this!
I got my first 12 wins arena run yesterday off of the free arena run. It was a 69.7 mage. Ended 12-2 when the deck should have gotten like 5 to 7 at most
Lots of salt whenever his opponent is lucky but rarely mentions his own luck - wish he would keep a counter in a few videos of when he's lucky vs when an opponent is.
I played arena today and got a pretty good buff hand paladin deck with a great curve and lost all three games. The two pallies both where basically murloc constructed decks and the priest had sooooo much removal it was unbelievable. :(
It's Incredible how things can go wrong if you missplay... Against that first Jaina, Krip actually topdeck a good answer to Mistress of Mixtures: it was possible to coin + bilefin tidehunter; then kill MoM with on the hunt and using emerald reaver... then she would probably use demolisher to stablish the board against his 1/1 and 2/1; then on his turn3 hoffer could be another perfect answer to this. And the next companion, Misha, wouldnt have died to RNG but for frostbolt + ping. IDK if he could win this, but that game wasnt only in her favour.
That mage deck (Hyuk) is one very similar to a deck I'm in the middle of right now. It had 4 firelands portals, flamestrike, blizzard, glyph, and an excellent curve. I went 7-3. Arena in a nutshell. I'm not a bad player, so arena is bullshit.
Played Rogue in arena today. Ended up losing my first match against a Mage that had Mana Wyrm on turn one then followed it up with sorcerer's apprentice and Mirror Image..then when he was finnally behind on the board a couple of turns later,he topdecked Volcanic Potion..Still managed to stabilise and played a bunch of minions hoping he wouldn't get another AOE spell. He did draw a Blizzard nect turn. By that time, I was so frustrated that I almost quit, little know he had a Meteor as well...Crazy, isn't it? You just have to pick Mage and pray for the best fcking cards in the arena. That is it. Ez 12 wins
Egor Hydra is insane if you have healing. In Druid I usually get at least 8 wins off of it even have used it to bait out a turn 5 volcano only to heal and develop next turn while they were overloaded.
hey Kripp, could you provide a Link to the VODS from which these highlights are in the description? That would make it easy to see the whole run, if one is interested in it.
If ever a person wanted to show, not tell the audience why you don't want to play Hydra in 90% of situations despite big stats, I think he found the perfect opportunity. Sure it's easy to see the volcano problem, but how about avoiding it even at 17 health previously. This arena was free, he says up front it's a joke, the deck is very good otherwise, and he gets 11 wins anyway. Your mileage may vary.
11 win Shaman, against Kripp who was forced to play Bittertide on curve.....yeah I'm pretty sure that Shaman was like "wow, Christmas came early for me. Easiest 12th win ever."
the amount of games i have played with my free arena passes where the opponent had answers every single turn for everything i played until i was basically dead and had to hit concede was INSANE, fucking rogues, paladins and mages rekt me almost every fucking time with too many value answers
why would you take hired gun as a hunter over dragonling mechanic? the 2 bodies allow you to be more aggressive, and the 4 health body means potentially staying on the board long enough to actually hit the face.
I heard someone (yep, SOMEONE!) :D say that the packs are determined when they are earned, not when they are opened, so the changing rules about how legendary dupicates work won't be in effect for those packs he is saving. Does anyone know this for sure though?
6:40 Animal Companion vs snail, gets misha, complains 10:49 Coin companion vs mistress, gets huffer, complains Does kripp think animal companion does something different than what it does, he always complains no matter what he gets
I went against two mages who played like absolute trash yesterday and they won with cards to spare because they got superbly lucky on top of having much higher deck quality. I would be much saltier if I hadn't made back my gold from 6 wins prior.
If you are not joking, yes huffer is the worst one to get early game, as it can be easily removed and that face damage won't yet matter (unless you are old school face hunter), best is misha, and leok is good on a full board, there's a Disguised toast video exactly on stats from animal companion, of which is best when (based on winrate).
Situational. Huffer is the worst one if opponent can negate your turn 3 with something left over from turn 1 or 2, you can't win games like that against skilled players and good decks except if you get insanely lucky.
today i got reckt by a hunter that coined out deadly shot on turn 2 to answer my 1/1 hero power. Talk about a skilled class. (he got huffer next turn and tar creeper protected it on 4 so i coudn't remove it fast enough)
I went 12-1 with a hunter, i think the meta for arena was slower so i just face rolled dropped a call of the wild and shot face. didn't matter if I went second, cus i just had high quality buffs for my minions and just face rolled them.
i dont understand why kripp plays a 3-mana "summon huffer" expecting to get anything else
some weirdly bearded man once told me to not play hydra in arena. especially against shamans.
i just can't remember his name .......
Unity Right? What kind of idiot doesn't follow their own advice?
-Draft 77 point hunter deck.
-Play like shit for giggles.
-Complain about everything you did/enemy did/your mom.
-Kripp.
wanted to comment the same thing :D :D
Well... personally i wouldn't pick it either, but i think Hunter's a special case. They need to be as agressive as possible and Hydra offers just that. Play a slower card and the game might just be over. So picking Hydra in an (agressive) Hunter deck is a wise choice in my opinion.
But of course, it didn't work out that way. Once again, Hydra (at least from the games Kripp showed here) offered nothing but fail.
How could you expect a 4 win mage not to have 3 firelands portals in the first 12 cards?
It was probably sarcasm
A joke 77 point deck ... I thought Kripp mentioned me in the title, never lucky
4 mana 7/7 unfortunately you will never be played ever again
Bogyman Noobman why ;-;
Evil Heckler YOU TAUNT! YOU BAD!!
4 mana 7/7 didnt i see you over at aris' tekken channel?
HonestGaming Nope
Me hear Hunter? Me like.
Smorcerino Kripperino fuck face hunters
That profile. XD
Bogyman Noobman You're dead befor you can cast it
Adam Hreczynski *taunt taunt taunt taunt taunt and more taunts*
don't worry he'll get one from a primordial glyph at turn 4, to cast at 5.
Todays sick Topdecks:

9:47 Mortal Strike to kill the Cult Master
13:00 Firelands Portal on curve
18:48 Polymorph answer
19:52 Volcanosaur with Taunt and not spelltargetable
Topdeckarrino Kripperino 13:00 not a topdeck, he had at least another firelands in hand
Yes he had but topdecking a Firelands Portal on turn 7 is really good
Mortal Strike was by no means a topdeck, it would've just milled Kripp. He had like 8 in hand and 4-6 on board.
Kripp had 6 in hand +1 draw and he had 4 minions on the board.... In Arena you shouldn't try to mill your opponnent because it's rare to play until fatigue and you fill your opponnents hand. Also card draw is really good in Arena because you normally want boardcontrol.
Breaks his own rule about bittertide, then blames rng
The entire video I was thinking how kripp hates bittertide. That irony.
John Doe
"It seems good but mages dominate arena right now so it's suck"
-kripp himself
did you see the other two options?
> Has Savannah Highmane and Bittertide Hydra on hand
> Against a Shaman
> On turn 6
> Plays the Hydra and blames RNG
Come on, Krip! You're way better than this!
23:12 That's a sick beat.
Holy fuck 3 Kipp videos in 1 day? What is this the end of the world?
miniZergling more like god came to us a brought paradise down there
miniZergling pogchamp
come to me little ones
The third vid is kripp is being a fucking sellout
It is actually haven't you noticed until now?
Clicked for title. Instead got Krupp bitching about going second
4:09
Skipperino Kripperino thank you, didnt have time today... needed to skip
Skipperino Kripperino 6:07 is when he starts playing. Don't lie to us
It's fun how you guys like skipping Kripp talking, and I just prefer to watch until galempay starts, then stop watching XD
Can you do 2 timestamps: One for the draft, and one for the start of gameplay?
he played himself with those fucking hydras lol
Turns out Volcano against Bitter Tide Hydra is pretttty damn good!
Am'gam rager score -1 5:25 im dying!
I dont even play the game, I just watch this vids for entertainment from Kripp
THIS CHANNEL IS RIPE FOR REBELLION! LET THE KRIPPERINOS FEEL OUR WRATH!
Rebelleroni Kripperoni SEND THE KRIPPERIONOS TO THE DEEPEST ABYSS OF THE VOID!!!!!
I got my first 12 wins arena run yesterday off of the free arena run. It was a 69.7 mage. Ended 12-2 when the deck should have gotten like 5 to 7 at most
Why is this man shaking his head so much?
Elder Dilder cannot unsee XD
On Volcanosaur: "That's a good draw, hope he doesn't get a taunt."
*Gets first taunt and then elusive*
Lots of salt whenever his opponent is lucky but rarely mentions his own luck - wish he would keep a counter in a few videos of when he's lucky vs when an opponent is.
And what we've learned about hunter in arena from that first game. You play the freezing trap on turn two if you can ;/
Kripps mustache is trying to escape into his mouth.
14:26 misplays then blames RNG #justkrippthings
It was a misplay and bad RNG. That’s why he blamed both. Must be difficult to think with 2 brain cells.
That volcano hurt me on a spiritual level.
I played arena today and got a pretty good buff hand paladin deck with a great curve and lost all three games. The two pallies both where basically murloc constructed decks and the priest had sooooo much removal it was unbelievable. :(
HAHAHAHA Kripp got fucking REKT by the Volcano!!!
"Will always lose going first" goes 11 wins.
I ran out of salt to season my pasta today, but fortunately I watched you play which gave me more than enough
wow finally a kripp vid that's longer than 5 minutes.
"They're revealing all remaining hero cards next week"
Kripp: "That's interresting"
Me: YISS HYPE HYPE HYPE
never draft hydra and drafts two of them lul
Kripparian videos - see how he goes 11-3 and still complains how lucky everyone except him is.
DAT VOLCANO I LAUGHED SO HARD
this guys really enjoying what hes doing
volcano and hydra sounds like music for the ear
That Cult Master was nuts in game 1
It's Incredible how things can go wrong if you missplay...
Against that first Jaina, Krip actually topdeck a good answer to Mistress of Mixtures: it was possible to coin + bilefin tidehunter; then kill MoM with on the hunt and using emerald reaver...

IDK if he could win this, but that game wasnt only in her favour.
May the salt be with you , young kripadawan. 🐸
19:13 opponent missed one face damage lul
*opponent draws 2 firelands portals* "Insaaaaanely lucky"
...that one snippet of moustache curled under the lip is freakin' me out..
24:00 waiting doesn't matter. Pack contents are locked in the moment you earn the pack.
Added to my favorites. Well said kripp
That ONE... patch of stache hair that goes down over Kripp's lip. Just wanna freeze time and trim it.
You're such a gracious player.
Daaaaaamn haha wrecked at the end Kripp!
- Hunter
- high skill cap
You can only choose one Kripp
Played Rogue in arena today. Ended up losing my first match against a Mage that had Mana Wyrm on turn one then followed it up with sorcerer's apprentice and Mirror Image..then when he was finnally behind on the board a couple of turns later,he topdecked Volcanic Potion..Still managed to stabilise and played a bunch of minions hoping he wouldn't get another AOE spell. "Constantly unlucky with this deck"... @ 11 wins. I bet you got at least average luck with those results.
Conclusion dont pick hydra EVER....
hydra is ok but you dont use that card playing against shaman
it is even better to not use this card ever...
The probability of it losing the game for you is way too high
Egor i got few wins with it but it'll fuck you up 90% of the time
yeah thats exactly my point 10% of the time it is good 90% it is bad or medicore at best ,
so yeah tottaly not worth the risk
Egor Hydra is insane if you have healing. In Druid I usually get at least 8 wins off of it even have used it to bait out a turn 5 volcano only to heal and develop next turn while they were overloaded.
Buff hunter by letting him draft mind blast
Biggierino Cheeserino Kripperino YES!!!
The name of the guy in the first game is "Itokura" which translates to "it will grow" you're welcome.
The Warlock hero power is going to be related to discarding, I know it.
hey Kripp, could you provide a Link to the VODS from which these highlights are in the description? That would make it easy to see the whole run, if one is interested in it.
hey guys how's it going Spain here
😂😂😂
Talk about going out with a blast.
Kripp, why would you pick Bittertide Hydra after all you've said in the past about it?
one of the things i dislike about adapt is how taunt minions can adapt to have taunt
Please mighty god of the arena ad the deckcodes to every of your videos in the future!
never draft hydra... he said, and he had 2 in his deck
I built my friend an arena deck with 2 hemets and a nat darkfisher
OldManPastry you are a monster
Wasn't Hemet GVG?
Aaron Clack jungle hunter hemet
*former friend
Holy salt. I havent watched Kripp in a while and now i realize how salty he actually is.
Complains about getting unlucky constantly.
Gets 11 wins
I played a 76 point control hunter when I was a noob. And I still got 9 wins! Turns out - control hunter is preeeetty good?
If ever a person wanted to show, not tell the audience why you don't want to play Hydra in 90% of situations despite big stats, I think he found the perfect opportunity. Sure it's easy to see the volcano problem, but how about avoiding it even at 17 health previously. 11 win Shaman, against Kripp who was forced to play Bittertide on curve.....yeah I'm pretty sure that Shaman was like "wow, Christmas came early for me. Easiest 12th win ever."
What app is he using to display the tier score when he was picking the cards? I loved that.
Cameron Cooper heartharena
gustavo oliveira thx
the amount of games i have played with my free arena passes where the opponent had answers every single turn for everything i played until i was basically dead and had to hit concede was INSANE, fucking rogues, paladins and mages rekt me almost every fucking time with too many value answers
All you do is complain but I still end up watching LUL
so salty about your opponents answers, but when you have answer its about skill and allways ok
Only Kripp gets angry when he gets 11 wins 😂
I drafted a 74 Hunter today and went 12-2 for my first 12 wins :)
Are you using some sort of plugin for the draft selection tier display ? What's it called?
20:20 Would't have been better to have placed Highmane on the opposite side? If it comes to a meteor you would have kept a slightly better minion?
I'm a cartoon hamster playing HearthStone! :D
So rude! xD
why would you take hired gun as a hunter over dragonling mechanic? the 2 bodies allow you to be more aggressive, and the 4 health body means potentially staying on the board long enough to actually hit the face.
I heard someone (yep, SOMEONE!) :D say that the packs are determined when they are earned, not when they are opened, so the changing rules about how legendary dupicates work won't be in effect for those packs he is saving. Does anyone know this for sure though?
the cards inside the packs aren't predetermined, just the rarities. as far as I know, it's just an overwatch thing where loot is predetermined
That moment when you go from watching his second loss to him magically having 10 wins what the fuck
*tech 9 but still
I've never understood why Kripp can't accept that his opponents can also do well in the game.
A good arena player and that kripp cant even draft without arena helpers gg wp l2p
6:40 Animal Companion vs snail, gets misha, complains
10:49 Coin companion vs mistress, gets huffer, complains
Does kripp think animal companion does something different than what it does, he always complains no matter what he gets
We need a "Crybaberino Kripperino" for times when he gets 11 wins (ok maybe just 10) and it's still not good enough.
volcanosaur getting taunt and can't be targeted by spells actually made me say wow outloud at how bad that rng fucking was lol
What do you use to determine the point value of your deck?
Its going well Kripp
Why is Kripp's moustache so uneven in the intro?!
That finish ^^
So, is there a Unicorn Hunter deck now?
Damn, went 11-3, better be a salty baby
I went against two mages who played like absolute trash yesterday and they won with cards to spare because they got superbly lucky on top of having much higher deck quality. I would be much saltier if I hadn't made back my gold from 6 wins prior.
Did he just say huffer is the worst one?
Anonyymi Hiiri HUFFER?!!! BAD?!!!

Should've adapted that knife juggler for the poisonous
knife juggler is not a beast...
today i got reckt by a hunter that coined out deadly shot on turn 2 to answer my 1/1 hero power. Talk about a skilled class. (he got huffer next turn and tar creeper protected it on 4 so i coudn't remove it fast enough)
Where is OKerino Kripperino when we need him
Playing Hydra against Shaman in arena, nice one Kripp :D You know the RNG why do you do this?
How long do you play HS on average? www.strawpoll.me/13575153
42 HOURS FUCKIN MY LEPER GNOMES..
Should have a "I don't play hearthstone" option.
Hey Strawpollerino, have you made a strawpoll about how many people increase the speed of kripps video and by how much?
I dont play just watch. Nice way to unwind
I went 12-1 with a hunter, i think the meta for arena was slower so i just face rolled dropped a call of the wild and shot face. didn't matter if I went second, cus i just had high quality buffs for my minions and just face rolled them.
kripp how do you amke the rating when you choose the cards
???
What is a ___ point deck? And what do you use to have the recommendations pop up?
