Flight report // descripción del vuelo:
🇬🇧: In this flight, we will take off from Madrid-Cuatro Vientos airfield from runway 27, enjoying views of Madrid on both sides.
We’ll head directly to point N in Boadilla del Monte and then to P1, proceeding northwest towards Valmayor Reservoir while maintaining an altitude of 1500 feet above ground.
The weather conditions in this part of the flight are good, with clear visibility and few clouds.
As we fly over El Escorial and the Sierra de Guadarrama, we will begin our climb to 10,500 feet to overfly Segovia.
We will continue heading northwest towards the Cantabrian Mountains, with Valladolid on our left, and skirt around the Picos de Europa National Park.
With clearer skies, we will reach the Asturian coast, enjoying the views on both sides, before leaving Spanish airspace. From there, we’ll proceed on a heading of 347 for 500 nautical miles directly towards Ireland.
As we approach Ireland, cloud cover will increase, and we’ll lower our altitude to 2500 feet above ground due to a lower cloud ceiling. We will join the visual approach to Cork through point VP002 in Carrigaline, south of Cork.
Cork will be visible during the visual approach, and we expect to land on runway 25 before taxiing to the general aviation apron.
🇪🇸: En este vuelo, despegaremos del aeródromo de Madrid-Cuatro Vientos por la pista 27, disfrutando de unas vistas de Madrid a ambos lados.
Procederemos directos al punto N en Boadilla del Monte y luego al P1, para tomar rumbo noroeste hacia el pantano de Valmayor, manteniendo una altitud de 1500 pies sobre el terreno.
Las condiciones meteorológicas en esta parte del vuelo son óptimas, con buena visibilidad y nubes escasas.
A medida que sobrevolamos El Escorial y la Sierra de Guadarrama, comenzaremos nuestro ascenso a 10,500 pies para sobrevolar Segovia.
Continuaremos rumbo noroeste, pasando por la Cordillera Cantábrica, con Valladolid a nuestra izquierda y bordeando el Parque Nacional de Picos de Europa.
Ya con cielos más despejados, sobrevolaremos la costa asturiana, disfrutando de las vistas a ambos lados antes de abandonar el espacio aéreo español. Desde ahí tomaremos rumbo 347 durante 500 millas náuticas directos hacia Irlanda.
Al acercarnos a Irlanda, la nubosidad irá en aumento y el techo de nubes será más bajo, lo que nos obligará a descender a 2500 pies sobre el terreno. Nos incorporaremos a la aproximación visual a Cork por el punto VP002 en Carrigaline, al sur de Cork.
Cork será visible durante la aproximación visual, y esperamos aterrizar en la pista 25 para luego dirigirnos a la plataforma de aviación general.
