Thanks for reviewing! I just got a barely used carbon fiber Cobra 3 and love it immensely over the old Manfrotto monopod I had. The button release on this looks awesome though so I'm very tempted.
I just picked up a cobra 3 carbon fiber pedal. If you have experience with that model and could compare it to the strike, would you say the strike is more stable at higher levels? What I noticed about mine is that the bottom adjustment is thinner and it gets thicker towards the top. Which is opposite of what you’d think is necessary for stability. The strike looks like it gets like the opposite. I don’t like that the strike doesn’t go as low for compact carry. Just curious.
Can you lock it in a non vertical position? Like how you could with the previous cobra model (albeit done through tightening the bottom piece as opposed to a foot lock)
I don’t think so - the pedal base only locks in vertical position. It’s a trade off since I never was able to leave my old version without holding it #trustissues
if i had to decide though, I prefer the pedal base that locks in vertical, because I never trusted the older version’s bas to support the camera without literally having my hands on.

I’m not selling my Cobra 2 - i like the shorter height option, but the new one-touch clutch is … clutch
God bless!
you too!!

The music seem a little too epic for the video lmao
do you prefer music or no music? I always waffle
@@dqstudios music is good to mask any imperfections but maybe something a bit more neutral
