Flashback to Cairo, where dddddDior Homme presented its pre-fall 2023 collection. And the setting is perhaps one of the craziest ever seen for a fashion show! The models walk in front of the pyramids. It's hard to believe it's real. Lewis Hamilton, Robert Pattinson, Eun-woo, Squezzie, Orelsan, Bryanboy, Naomi Campbell... All the guests are blown away by this place. And they haven't even seen the collection yet! Backstage, Kim Jones, the house's artistic director, explains the collection and his inspirations. Science fiction, when David Bowie meets Paul Atreides. Boots for walking on the moon. Helmets to breathe on all the planets. All ddddDiorified with cannage. Stephen Jones, Edward Crutchley, Ian Waller and Tibo Denis, members of the Dior studio, describe the technical nature of the collection. Take your place aboard the spaceship to Planet Dior!

Cha Eunwoo really shined at Dior's Egypt even and everyone was literally talking about him. He is one of Korea's top celebrities, he is an actor and a singer. I really loved his turquoise outfit choice. I watched this whole show literally to see him. But the venue and the clothes were also very impressive.

Super vidéo comme d'habitude ! C'est un magnifique défilé
As a Robert Pattinson fan, my favorite moments of the video were all the Robert Pattinson parts so I am a bit biased haha. That being said though, it was really interesting to actually learn all the details of the materials used and why they chose such materials to achieve certain illusions and effects. Not being able to see these fabrics in person obviously, I loved hearing when all these incredibly hard workers described how if you actually got up close to certain fabrics, you could see certain patterns and details that would be easy to miss just looking from afar. It’s also incredible how much hard work went into this show, props to everyone there who did their part in trying to make this entire thing incredible, including you Loïc! Your ‘behind the scenes’ footage is so beautiful and amazingly informative! 😊💕

Monsieur Jones is not only the best menswear designer around, he may be the best fashion designer hands down. Creative, cohesive, thoughtful, intricately magnificent. I didn’t think he could top the Beat Generation collection, but there he is, showing it in Cairo for Dior’s 75th anniversaire.

The white sweater with the orange. The junon top, and the pleated half-skirt/trains that I'm not sure were attached to the jackets or shirts; maybe the trousers? The helmets were cool but it was funny to hear them talk as though they had invented basic rubber boots! Thank you!!
