This video came out exactly when i was planning my Euro roadtrip for later in the Autumn. I was looking and researching nice, kinda quiet small towns to visit on my way to my ultimate goal - Tromso. Now this town is certainly a must visit for me. That lego restaurant looked amazing. I really hope i'd manage to get that lego order experience. In my childhood i never had Lego, because i was born in a country which was part of the Eastern Block and everyone was poor back in the 90s when i was a kid, but to this day it still appeals to my inner child. Can;t thank you enough for the great ideas you've given me with your travel videos.

The moment I saw the blue line in the airport I knew instantly it was Billund! I went there with my family recently and it is an awesome place if you have kids. It's insane to me you can fly for cheaper than the cost of two beers there. While out there I got a lift to and from the nearest parkrun from a local (30 mins away) after contacting them on Facebook, super friendly people. We also ended up staying for an extra night to fly back on a Monday because the difference was about £150 per person to fly back on the Sunday - great video guys, really enjoying this content!
We were actually there with the wife and kid in spring for Legoland! So nice to see it again :) Pro tip - if you go to the city Vejle by bus, the prices there are the same as in Latvia, for instance. They have Lidl and all regular shops, some prices are even cheaper
I previously had cause to make weekend trips from Edinburgh to Charlton, in South East London. The train was so expensive that it was cheaper to pay to park my car at Edinburgh airport for the weekend, get a return flight to Stansted, rent a Picanto (or car of equivalent size) to get me from Stansted to Charlton and back, and pay for fuel. When Ryanair stopped doing those cheap flights, the train was still more expensive than just doing an ~820 mile round trip in my Mk7 Celica VVTi at the time. Trains are literally priced like they don’t want people on them.
My mate was in Germany recently. Nearly unlimited public transport usage for the entire country for a month for €49. The only exception was the ICE train, which was extra. UK prices are insanity.
Cheaper, yes, but much more inconvenient and slower. And that's why trains are so expensive - even the Shinkansen in Japan is more expensive than flying yet it's overall faster. So it's more expensive in return. I hate it but I can't do anything about it, that's the price of convenience

I've flown to and from there but never visited the town as I went to Aarhus, which I highly recommend. I can say that I did enjoy the lounge they have at that airport.

You were so right to go to Lego House rather than LegoLand as the amusement park is fun n all, but the House is exactly that, the home of the brick. The experience is pretty magical if like me you’re an Adult Fan of Lego, but it was cool to see how you both enjoyed it - it’s a cool place eh! Food in Denmark is generally fab but expensive as you saw, and honestly that is the vibe of the place all the time, even in peak season - folk are just genuinely delightful to deal with no matter the purpose of the encounter. The other gems include the exclusive, only available at Lego House sets and the most Wheelchair Accessible airport I’ve ever travelled through (motorised isle chairs plugged in at every gate! Iykyk!) I’m absolutely loving your channel generally but this was a real treat. Well done guys :)

Really good video guys. I was visiting my family last weekend and my brother and his family had just come back from visiting the same place. They went to the Lego exhibition too and had a meal in that Lego restaurant as well (Apparently as well as the robots that serve the food, there is one that goes round for people put their empty plates on)
Danish upright bikes all have a built in lock that stops the rear wheel turning, so coupled with the fact they weigh as much as a boat anchor disabling the rear wheel from turning is effective theft deterrent. Wandering around Copenhagen though at 2am after a session at the local brewhouse it's still pretty safe.
Love that you can get flights this cheap. Recently found out myself and realised that I could spend a day in another country for less than a day in London and spent £17 to fly to Helsinki and back on the same day. One of the best days of my life, since done it to Venice and have Paris booked. much cooler experience than a day in your own city and for the same or less money

Just been to Billund myself yesterday and I have to say it’s a small gem of a city, such a nice place, felt safer than ever, everyone speaks English and all the Lego to top it off. Highly recommend giving it a shot, was just an 1 1/2 hour drive from Flensburg, Germany

A lot of those cheap flights are just so the airlines reserve their landing places at airports and/or have planes where they need them for the next flight - it does help that jet fuel isn't taxed anywhere near what it should be, petrol and diesel pay 53p per litre in duty and 20% VAT on the total price (so a £1.50 litre, is 78p tax and VAT), jet fuel pays 38p duty and no VAT.

£8 per pint seems ridiculous, but it's a cracking looking pint in a fabulous location. And when you consider that's about the price of 2 cups of overbrewed "tea" from a truck stop, that's not bad! The food in the Lego museum made my mouth water, that looked fantastic!
The beer was unusually expensive, especially for that part of Denmark, normally a pint is 3,5-50 and in the supermarket 0,80 🙂 LEGO house are not really for the most part a museum 🙂

I love this channel. As every other channel gets bigger and spends more money, they lose touch with the core audience and the content isnt as relatable as when they first started. But you guys doing this cheaper, budget friendly content gives more of an everymans feel and it's really enjoyable. So much so that it has me looking into cheap flights just for a spontaneous budget weekend getaway with the wife.

Must´ve been the most expensive beers in Denmark🤔? Cheap beers in the supermarkets normally cost down to 0.80£ per 0.5l.

I love this channel. As every other channel gets bigger and spends more money, they lose touch with the core audience and the content isnt as relatable as when they first started. But you guys doing this cheaper, budget friendly content gives more of an everymans feel and it's really enjoyable. So much so that it has me looking into cheap flights just for a spontaneous budget weekend getaway with the wife.
It fills me with pride knowing that Jack and Ethan flew on a plane I might've worked on. Love the channel

Great video, I’m liking the Travel Man (Richard A version) vibe to these trips. Also the nice balance of travel content in terms of costs and regular vs slightly odd. However what makes the whole channel is the banter between you two, I think I could watch you watching paint dry for an hour and enjoy every minute😂😂😂😂
