@@crimsonsunbear5732 if it’s an ability that will only appear on a small number of warscrolls across all 24 factions then I would rather they just put it on the warscrolls for easy reference instead of increasing the amount of universal special rules I would have to remember.
If you are just trying to turn off the flash the lightning logo that is in the top left of the camera app will give you two options (off and auto) If you want to force it on swipe up on the camera controls you will get some more options and one of them is the flash option where you can set it to off on or auto, I hope that this has helped
I played Spearhead at the US Open. This should easily be played in an hour, assuming people know the basic AoS rules. I played for about 25-30 minutes, and we got through two ... two and a half rounds. Spearhead is only four rounds.
Both AoS and 40k are moving further and further away from what i liked about them, not complaining not boycotting, just dont like the way warhammer is going.
Feels like they've seen the writing on the wall with all of the OnePageRules converts and are trying to make games less convoluted. I haven't played AoS but know 40k comes with a tonne of bloat
Not gonna like I also think Combat Patrol suffers ao much not only because they didnt innovate on making the smaller games more exciting but also because whoever was designing the combat patrol lists feels like they were throwing darts at a wall, you have ones like the old Genestealer Cults, with their hordes and mining equipment and Drukhari with two gunboats and stuff to carry in them very thematic and representative of the army. Then you have stuff like DG and TS, which is a bunch of their chaff and not a lot of their actual marines or the imperial guard, which doesn't have a tank or Tau's new combat patrol which doesn't have a unit of battlesuits.
So over this dumb "can't play it in an hour" bullshit after people have played one game. Any real gamer knows you get better with repetition - games in an hour is easy-peasy if your first games are in 1.5-2 hrs.
My buddy and I are pretty much done with GW….. we will be buying the Skaventide box… damnit 😅 admittedly we are using the models for DnD and pathfinder mostly. We will most likely play one game of 4th edition and not think about it even a little for the next couple years
Yawn. It’s the same cycle EVERY time. Starts off with promises of free, streamlined rules. Then cue more and more rules bloat, codex creep and imbalance. Some cool figures but a hard pass from me.
Problem with I see spearhead is with oruks, I don’t like the Alabama mated with Mississippi to get these inbred tall goblin like things. Iron jaws don’t get a spearhead box and that’s awful. iron jaws are way better than the hillbilly goblins.
Re: the AoS team looks at how 40k messed up the last year and learns from it.
