@@frankgilbert1812 I remember that there was some criticism regarding Scott's Ne Me Quitte Pas studio rendition. The choir at the end. I disagree that the song would have survived without a choir, but the voices are not overpowering.
@@sandradavies7804 In her time, I found Sandie an awful singer. Later I realized she was quite good. It was mostly her repertoire I didn't like. My favorite of her is 'Together', a Harry Nilsson song, which unfortunately didn't chart. It was excellently orchestrated. For decades, I had to do with a worn out 45rpm, thanks to YT I can hear it without a thousand pops and scratches. Look it up, it's a very nice song.
