1 note about e6: e6 is a way to play the classical Dutch defense but with a slight move order change that avoids the Staunton gambit, Rafael variation, and hopton attack
I always felt off playing Nf6 because it always seemed like the knight was developed too early, allowing the Trompowsky, Torre and forcing boring lines against the London and Colle. I tried playing the Benoni but it was so not my style to be down on the evaluation by almost a full pawn. Now that I have absorbed the power of the French defence, I can craft a comprehensive e6 repertoire against d4. against 2. e4 or Nc3, enter the French with d5. against anything else except for c4, play c5 to basically get a Benoni that equalizes immediately. against c4: play the Kangaroo defence to force a Nimzo Indian or Bogo Indian where you can immediately pressure the center after saving that key tempo by not playing Nf6. In short: I hate d4. No other move made me learn 4 different openings to counter it.

For faster time controls, I enjoy the Charlick Gambit. It's a lot of fun. For slower games, the Benoni.

There’s a setup that can crush the hippo defense. I didn’t write it down, but I will and share it with you.
Just what I was looking for ! Thank you.

after 1 ... e6 2 e4 , you can play g6 and head into the hippo without the pain in the ass move Bg5 by white
I play e6 because I play the french against e4 and then I play Nf6 after going into the nymzo and queen's indian and going e6 avoid the trompowsky
can you also please do the Carlson Gambit: 1. e4 e6 2. d4 d5 3. Nf3 dxe4 4. Ne5 (thumbnail should be Carlsen) 😎
