im glad you mention Punk Duck because from the start i recognize those lines and transition :3 while im watching this... my brain be like: this sound familiar, the transition and the use of bgm is familiar xD because its one of my favorite monster hunter video here on youtube, if i gonna convince someone to play MHW ill show punk duck vid
I’ve only played World and Iceborne and it alone solidified me into being a giant fan of MH. I’ve played so much that I’m super close to completing all of it’s achievements… I just need to… end my Velkhana suffering… can’t wait for Wilds!
I swear I must’ve hunted with you once recently you have that same Banbaro armor when fighting Lunastra in the Guilding lands! Or must be some other big fan of the series lol
One thing I think might be worth pointing out for anyone wishing to play through the story in multiplayer. It is possible to complete your quests at the same time. However the game does not allow you to join each other until you both have seen all pre-hunt cutscenes. For example, if you were doing the quest "The best kind of quest" when you hunt a barioth. You could both play solo until you both have seen the monster introduction cutscene. Then have one of you leave their quest and join the others quest. This progresses both of your quest completion.
the names of monster hunter npcs is dependent on the character you play, if you play someone who newly arrived in a local you only remember the people by their jobtitle "ah this is the it guy, this is another hunter, this is a researcher...", meanwhile in games were you character lived in the area for a long time beforehand, they already know the names of everyone.
I actually have played it back a couple years ago and enjoyed it, but the combat just didn’t gel with me. My biggest complaint with Witcher 3 isn’t with the game itself, but how other triple A publishers saw it’s gigantic success, and started showing their action games full of half baked skill trees, weapon rarities, and other rpg systems.
Have you played any Monster Hunter games that came before this? They are really fun (obviously because it's Monster Hunter) and they all have the same Monster Hunter [insert title here] G or Ultimate or Iceborne type thing as an alternate and more content rich version of the original.
@@jackothelantern Generations Ultimate is very good, though it was the last game in the series before World revamped the controls and introduced a ton of QoL changes. Rise with its Sunbreak expansion would likely be a better second game (outside of waiting a month for Wilds). It’s a great entry in the series, despite how it appears on the outside. I wouldn’t sleep on it if you haven’t actually played it yet.
9:55 while i still agree that the multiplayer implementation in this game is doo doo water, you're wrong, neither of you needs to FINISH the quests in your current progression in order to join each other's quest. You all just need to finish the first cutscene of the quest first before any of you can join each other's quest. So basically if the 4 of you will get say "the best kind of quest" assigned quest, all of you should enter that assigned quest SOLO, trigger the cutscene, finish it, then hit "return from quest", after that all 4 of you can play the same assigned mission. And fortunately, if you joined the same assigned quest, it will be considered finished for your save file's progression.
I saw the thumbnail and came to comment Monster Hunter World/Iceborne is the greatest game ever made with the greatest combat system ever made with the nicest community in gaming 🫡❤️🔥Goodbye
Good game, good vid. Shame about what happened to the Kulu Yakus though. They're forever changed, not for the better.
I AM WEARING ALL OF THEIR SKIN!
I LOVE NATURE!
Also thank you.
She Hunted on my Monster til I World.
She Monster Hunted on my World til I Iceborne

6:49 you leave my baby alone! lbg is a perfectly viable option of weapon
😈
7:30 capture bonk made my Greatsword caveman brain happy
I still believe that the tf2 pan hitting sound effect is one of the most dopamine inducing sounds in gaming.
Great video!
6:44 Long Sword slander will not be tolerated >:(
Long Sword vs Great Sword,
in other words:
Length vs Girth
I’ll leave it at that ;)

it's a barroth (the one that covers itself in mud) not a barioth (the icy sabre cat). their names are very similar :)

3:00 looks like it's time you played The Witcher 3

World is my first one, but I have been eyeing Generations Ultimate, since I own a Switch and I have been hearing good things about it.

I think we can all agree....... Azure Rathalos sucks.
5:13 put some respect on my boy Speed Eating, who carried me through half of Iceborne alone >:( . That and the Tigrex Skill.

brother there is a lobby system 😭
I should have worded that differently. I meant that why isn’t there a way to queue with friends to do expeditions.
Extiction
Crap, I didn’t notice that, thanks!
