I just replaced the food extension and worn-out distribution roller in my decade-old cat feeder--I never knew it disassembled so easily! These are very good and detailed instructions!
The manual was almost enough but this video was really nice for seeing how the shaker wire is supposed to go and for seeing how to remove the roller when its fingers eventually wear out. I love that you trust your users to service their own systems! So different from all the products that say "no user-serviceable parts inside".
Thank you for the education of the Super Feeder. Great job.. I have used this feeder for years, never fail. I replaced parts by my self, very easy. The system works perfect. with 2 container full with food, will provide about 1 month food to 50 fish in 120 gallon fish tank. Thanks again.
Great Video I would like to suggest that you install the rubber cover covering the access to the timer pot on the base assembly so that it opens from the bottom of the base instead of the top. This would prevent rain from getting in the unit. Also instructions as to how many times to turn the pot for a given amount of feed
+David Porter Yes, good ideas. We actually had planned that but given the way that the machining had to be made it made it more difficult and expensive to do.
