Fascinating, relaxing. As a new watcher, I have some questions. Is there any follow-up for these treatments, before/after? That would be amazing. Second, the patients' skin often looks pretty bruised to me; were it my skin, I'd want to ice it down right afterwards. Never had a treatment like this, so I am completely in the dark. So, then, what is the after-care like, when the extraction is finished for the day? A wash & exfoliation? Topical anti bacterial medication? The extractions are great, but I also wonder about the healing and transformation--how do these patients look in a week? Maybe that's not what this channel is about. Thanks in advance for indulging in my questions.
As a long time acne sufferer, this spa has a nasty habit of using that - what looks like - scalpel. It is NOT necessary to create the blood bath that she has done. The reason there is so much blood is because she is actually slicing a very tiny piece of skin. INCREDIBLY wrong. I have extracted my own white/black heads using the side of a pair of tweezers. NO BLOOD, minimal damage. There are some spas that use what looks to be a 'needle'. This creates minimal blood and very much less swelling. To answer your question about before/after care; I've never seen it. The only thing I've seen is the same kid with terrible acne come back with a much improved face. I too, would like to see a spa, cleanse, exfoliate, extract and clean up.

Other estheticians that use needles are jabbing and poking, so that's even worse. Don't get me started on the other tool I have seen used by others. If you watch "Hung's" 21 video series, that is what this face would look like if she didn't remove all the contents. She uses a #11 blade which fits into the tiniest pore and is the same blade Dr Pimple Popper, Dr Sandra Lee, uses. The only difference is that Thuy cannot make incisions which would require stitches. These faces honestly heal miraculously, as she uses Light Therapy to bring inflammation down, antibacterial washes, home remedies, etc.. This looks brutal, but it works. ❤
Another difficult skin, poor guy, I think the first treatment looks brutal but having followed Thuy through lots of her videos I’m certain that she has her clients welfare uppermost in her approach. This reminds me of Hung's inflammatory acne, though his was even worse. It kills me to think that is where this young man is headed. I thank goodness that he's found Thuy earlier on than Hung did. His outcome, though many sessions, lasted a couple of months and Thuy literally transformed his condition. Amazing!

I personally don't care for blood baths, and this is surely one. She is using a scalpel like thing which actually slices their skin. And I'm sure there is some pain involved here. I've seen other spas which extract just as well with little to no blood. Because they don't use anything bigger than a sewing 'needle' thing. If she did this to me I would come up swinging.

Yes, I feel as though there is some unnecessary deep cutting as well as blood. That being said, there are times where that is necessary. But I also feel as though the tech. can get carried away.
I don't know how many times I have watched this. I like the one near the end that she pulls the core out with it. You do a good job even tho it's pretty bloody.
On my second viewing I picked up on the fact that what looks like a lot of blood loss is not so. The fluid is very watery in nature tinged with some blood. He does indeed have a bad inflammatory acne going on here. Poor chap. Thuy will work her magic and I'm sure she will help this client.

You're probably right. Very similar to Hien Van Spa after Minh Khoi famous treatment. Word-of-mouth is very powerful in Vietnam.

No exfoliation. That’s too abrasive after something like this. Just a wash with a soap for their skin type. (Dry or oily or normal).

Wow they were some giant acne’s , I’m sure his skin will be much better once you have worked your magic on him. Must admit at one point I was almost 🤢 when I noticed the acne had fallen onto his mouth. But other than that fantastic video 💜🌸💜🌸
