National secondary kapa haka competition kicks off

Today marks the first official day of Te Huinga Whetū competition also known as the national secondary kapa haka competition held in Nelson. Te Tauihu o Te Waka region welcomed hundreds from across the country today. 42 teams, over 1500 kaihaka will take to the stage this week. Rapaera Tawhai has more.
