Hello to you! Thank you so much for making such lovely videos. I am just a regular american woman, but Mehndi art has enchanted me since I was a teenager, I am no expert, but I do love to make simple designs. This may seem like a strange comparison, but as a cake decorator, I find that henna and frosting have much in common, as far as the ideal texture, and the methods of making the shapes. Many of the motifs, such as lines and swirls, are even the same. :-) It even goes a little more toward being the same, when a #1 cake decorating tip from Wilton's has almost the same identical tiny opening as a cellophane cone :-) Now I have become inspired, I might make a cake and do mehndi-style designs with the frosting!
