Love conquers every stumbling situation. This movie is loaded with such great lessons for both the young and the old. It is relevant to know what you are about in any relationship so that you do not lead Mr. Barnabas to his early grave. Chinedu is a lucky one today, it may not be same for others who lose their jewels to well-to-do species of the human race. This is a beautiful movie.
A very nice movie...good acting, quality picture...when Nollywood was Nollywood. Not now that they produce elementary school drama..and call them movies. Thanks for uploading!!
I'm a Elder my Brother and have been married to a woman I know so well for 8years with little problems we have sometimes, yet our marriage is still in good standing, we have two children. The Lord has put us both together. It was confirm by God for us to be married. Never had any relationship with any woman than the woman that I married too. Praise God!
i like this movie. It shows you, that you should pick the friends you take advice from very carefully thats for the mother, as for the daughter, argue like a young lady not a child.
Its been long av been looking to how to watch dis old movie. Very interesting. Pls can someone remind me d names of any old movie so dat i can watch it .
This is the reality of some people in Africa. It breaks my heart to see the citizens of the richest continent suffering like this. With that said nice movie.
I dont think I could ever marry a man just to be comfortable, It is just wrong on so many levels. I have been through a lot on my short time here on this earth, but I learned something from each experience. I am not here to judge them for what they do, that's not my job. However, I do love the movie.
In the good old days or so call good old days everything was different. Today is also the good old days for some. Life evolves. Change happen. Voices. Foods. Clothes. Entertainment. 200 years ago could your ancestors communicate with my ancestors? In the states due to settlements of various groups you will pick up various accents depending community you reside in. So I expect it should be so for Afrika as times change.
I wish Nigerian movies should bring more movies like this bcz its natural and proper message unlike this dyz where they are trying to act like Americans or Southafricans. Used to have Nollywood Channel bt i have unsubscribed because there movies are weck
Apart from the American accent being used in these movies, one, as a viewer also have to come in terms with the fact that countries in Africa are also developing up to the American standard. for example, the are mobile phones, computer, internet in Nigeria with good networking system, tiled roads, more children, both male and female are going to school even to university levels. Nowadays, one has to go to the village in order to have that real "African feeling". Cities are being more modernized.
That's Liz Benson for you. She was the mother that gave birth to wickedness and ungratefulness in Nigerian movies, and Patience Ozokwor's role model then. Though a wonderful and skillful actress, she will forever be.
Ujena's attitude was just a bit immature and annoying the way she was talking to people. Most of Nigerians movies seems as if Nigerian people are ROUGH AND RUDE to each other. Its either they are fighting or exchanging words.
Im not sure if this girl is 12 and wants to be considered 21, or if she's actually 21 but just acts like she's 12..... chaiiiii .... see small gal indeed!
Who did the casting for this movie? Damn, they messed up the selection. lol she wasn't supposed to keep her childish behavior from the first scene. Was it even the same actress? lmao
The writer was trying to show the naivety of the character. For most girls back then in the 80s and 90s they weren't street wise, though grown but you could still see theor shyness and sometimes vulnerability and you could easily tell by their attitude that they're inexperienced in fact you know a virgin by just their attitude back then. So I'm sure that's what the writer was trying to portray.
Nice movie!!!! Lol
The girl that played as uchena is a really good actress!! She played her role well....
Emeka Ike and Liz benson were great tooo
OMG!!!! I'm in Love with Emeka Ike!!! There's none like him!!!

Where is part 2?
this girl is a 2 yr old in a teens body. nerve racking.
Uchenna’s mother was very ungrateful to Chinedu.
That's Liz Benson for you.
She was the mother that gave birth to wickedness and ungratefulness in Nigerian movies, and Patience Ozokwor's role model then.
Though a wonderful and skillful actress, she will forever be.
Wow
Its crazy
nice movie but i don't like how her role keeps changing from one naive girl to a mature woman, she should have ditched the baby voice thing
Lmfao barner B.
Ujena's attitude was just a bit immature and annoying the way she was talking to people. Most of Nigerians movies seems as if Nigerian people are ROUGH AND RUDE to each other. Its either they are fighting or exchanging words.
