If you were to set the measures in track 2 to 5 and then set LOOP LENGTH in MEMORY/REC to 1, and QUANTISE to MEASURE, track 2 recording will stop automatically after the 5 measures eliminating all rhythm drift. I have my 1,2 and 3 control buttons set to factory settings and after recording Track 1, during playback I press TRACK SELECT then REC/PLAY which sets track 2 ready to record immediately track 1 loop finishes. This makes track 2 absolutely spot time wise. This works great for me.
Hi Steve, I tried your suggestion, however in order for it to work, you appear to need to have loop sync ON for track two which then causes problems with switching between the two tracks as they do not both start at the beginning of the loop. Any thoughts on this? Thanks.
Terrific tutorial, thanks so much
Thanks for the video. Where did you get your larger footswitch buttons?
Google : guitar pedal caps

This is the best tutorial of the RC 500 better than Ben Rowlands where I brought his down load waste of money
