Das zweite Dream Build Video von MTB-Fichtelhills. Ich möchte mich bei allen bedanken, die mir Feedback zu meinem ersten Video ( • DREAM BUILD MTB Santa ... ) gegeben haben Anregungen, Tips etc. vieles davon habe ich aufgenommen und versucht im zweiten Video zu verbessern oder zu ändern. Natürlich bin ich offen für neues Feedback, denn das ist nicht das letzte Dream Build Video.

Hi, ich stelle mir gerade selbst ein Hightower zusammen und überlege noch zwischen 150 und 160mm Gabel. Warum hast du dich für 44mm Offset bei 160mm entschieden?
Hi, gute Wahl :-) ich habe mich für die 44mm Variante entschieden, da ich bei einer Probefahrt das Setup schon fahren konnte und es mir liegt und zum anderen weil die Gabel sofort verfügbar war. Ich finde jedoch keinerlei Infos direkt von Santa Cruz im Supportbereich, wo explizit erwähnt wird welche Gabel verbaut ist oder ich habe es mehrfach überlesen :-). In Foren scheiden sich meist die Meinungen die einen Sagen 42mm die anderen 51mm.
Möchte noch einmal nachhaken, da ich Infos von Santa Cruz bekommen habe. Santa Cruz empfiehlt beim HT V2 offiziell die 150mm Federgabel mit 42mm oder 44mm Offset je nachdem, ob man Rock Shox oder eine Fox Gabel fährt.

Hi. does your build has now has 140mm rear and 160mm front travel? Is it worth it not having a 150mm fork?
whats the difference apart from higher BB and Slack?

Top Video! Würdest du die 160mm an der Front empfehlen? Gibt es deiner Meinung nach Nachteile dadurch gegenüber einer 150mm? Überlege mir meinen Hightower auf 160mm zu upgraden.
Vielen Dank 👍🏻 ich habe leider keinen Vergleich zu einer 150mm Gabel, aber Nachteile merke ich mit einer 160er nicht. Das Bike geht hervorragend im Uphill.

Schönes Ding, hab mich jetzt für die gleiche Vorbau/Lenker Kombination entschieden.
Kannst du die Satttelstütze komplett im Rahmen versenken? Bin mir nicht sicher ob ich eine 175er unterkriege. Mein Rahmen ist leider noch nicht da, also wird das mit nachmessen nix...

Tolles Video! Eine Frage, wo verlaufen den die Leitung von der satelstütze, im oberrohr oder? Und was hast du für eine Länge der sattelstütze gewählt, 150mm hup? Ich fahre den Rahmen in XXL…

Hat das Hightower nicht eigentlich 150 mm vorne oder ist das n Schreibfehler in der Beschreibung ? Falls es Absicht ist wäre cool den Gedanken dahinter zu kennen ... ansonsten mega geil
Hi Silas, richtig ab Werk sind 150mm eingebaut und nein es ist kein Schreibfehler die 160mm Gabel ist auch montiert. Es kommt immer darauf an, wo man damit fahren möchte. Geht eher Richtung Enduro oder mehr in Richtung Downhill machen die 160mm Sinn oder in den Alpen. Außerdem hat mich der steilere Sitzwinkel interessiert und das Bike klettert mit 160mm immer noch hervorragend den Berg hinauf.

Man , that amount of spacers under the stem ... why not a higher rise handlebar and no spacers ?
Janos Ballo after a few weeks I go down with the stem and a higher rise bar is mounted 👍🏻

I get this frame from Komking Germany in April 2020. Now you need luck to get one HT frame in this color 😞

the adhesive can be used both without water plus acool? do you have the link where you sell it?
Yes the adhesive film you can apply dry or wet. Better way is wet application with alcohol. Take a look at www.easy-frame.com they have a lot of frame sets.
@@MTBFichtelhills n this case, can any bicycle wrap stickers be used with water?
I say yes but for small stickers is better to applicate dry. A transparent sticker is better for wet 😉

Sergio Vasconcellos hi in this video I don‘t use a torque for the grips. But I recommend a torpue from 3-5 Nm

I don't know if I understand you correctly... The film comes without liquid you have to mix water with 5-10% alcohol

Christian Peck yes the Renthal Carbon bar was the first what I want for this bike, but the carbon bars are sold out at this time.

Da gibt es viele Varianten je nachdem welches System du fährst 1-Fach,2-Fach,3-Fach, Hardtail oder Fully?

Ja klappt nicht immer 😜 Danke für dein Feedback. Zum einen gab es die Gabel für wenig Geld dazu und 160mm wird von vielen als angenehm empfohlen. Mich hat der steilere Sitzwinkel interessiert und ja das Bike klettert auch mit 160mm ordentlich den Berg hinauf.
Amazing bike porn. These rotors are 200mm at the front and 180mm at the rear? Do you use the same "20mm Post Mount-Fork" for both?
Sorry for the late reply. Yes front 200mm and 180mm rear. You need only a 20mm PM for the fork. Rear you need nothing for the caliper if you want 180mm brake disc in the rear.
