Alison and Mike, a cash-strapped young couple struggling to buy their first home, think their prayers are answered when a distant relative bequeaths them a sprawling country estate. The catch? The old house is haunted by the ghosts of its former inhabitants. The restless spirits, horrified that the new owners plan to turn the peaceful pile into a bustling hotel, make plans to oust the troublesome newcomers. Much as I miss Horrible Histories (because it was fantastic, funny AND factual so even now that I’m a teacher I use clips of it in most History lessons), I’m so glad these guys are still together doing their thing. Ghosts was HILARIOUS and I have recommended it to everyone I know. Even these outtakes were superb.
I am the same age as Simon and Ben, we grew up watching Rentaghost..
I am now catching up with Horrible Histories because of Ghosts. I watched Jim in Peep Show and Broadchurch. I also love Charlotte Ritchie especially when she was in Call The Midwife. Now I full appreciate the whole team and lockdown is a great time to watch their work..It is either Jim or Simon that are my favourites in the group. I adore Jim as Richard III.. I love Martha too..

I love the cycle of takes that you often get in bloopers and get a lot here.
*Take 1:* Almost gets it but breaks on something.
*Take 2:* Less successful attempt as the anticipation of the same thing gets everyone to break even sooner.
*Take 3:* Can't even start the take because the anticipation is so much that everyone's already laughing before the actor's even opened their mouth.
These guys are an actual national treasure, loved watching them on HH when I was younger and now this feels so familiar yet so fresh, bloody brilliant 💯💯💯

Same here! There's a kind of comfort with this show. Lovable, funny, mish-mash of characters, a fun story with a lot of potential. I think the chemistry of the cast definitely is a big reason why, too. Can't wait to be able to see Series 4!!
Honestly thought this show would be a nostalgia grab and not all that good but I gave it a go and loved it!! The cast is still brilliant and any newcomers only add to that

I have enjoyed this show SO MUCH!!!!! Also, Horrible Histories has been a favorite of mine. Looking forward to season 5 when it becomes available to us here in the US. Loved the casting and the characters! When I look up at night I say a thank you to Moonah Stone❤

This programme is an absolute blessing and it is one of only a few things that have brought me joy this year (and other years too tbf). Horrible histories gang are still unbeatable.
brilliant British comedy at its very best...have watched all four seasons about six times now..... thank you BBC iplayer... tried watching the american version........ sorry it just doesn't cut the mustard

it's getting a second series, right? that's just how long a series is
In the UK, a typical series ("season") will be around 6 episodes long. It generally ranges between 3-8 episodes - any more than that for a non-child focused/reality TV/soap opera is very rare.
There's gonna be a season 3 as well!
