  • In this video, I will be showing you how to perform basic data pre-processing and exploratory data analysis (EDA) in Python using the pandas library. For this tutorial, we will be performing exploratory data analysis to answer practical questions using the NBA Basketball player stats data that we had previously obtained via web scraping.

    So glad I found this. I'd delighted to be introduced to Dr. Nantasenamat's content. Very clear and applicable. Very high content to noise. I'm a geographer and we use GIS data for geoanalysis and the majority of the work is with data. I've been slowly learning a bit more Pandas and GeoPandas over time and I feel like I just had an injection of Pandas nanobots.

      Hi Tim, welcome to the channel. Glad to hear that you're finding Pandas useful for your GIS work. For data visualization of geo data, there are leafmap and geoplot.

    Love your content!! Question: I have to choose between PhD in Biomedical Informatics or Biomedical Data Science. Which do you think would be more beneficial long term?(jobs,pay) Both programs are fully funded.

    • @DataProfessor
      @DataProfessor  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, I think you’ll have to take a deeper dive into the details of each program. Look through the course offerings, look through some of the potential research projects and PhD supervisors that you would like to work with. The title of both programs are close enough so we will have to look at the granular differences. Hope this helps.
