The trigger range on Autodrive needs to be longer than the standard 25m with these long trailers, try 50m and see.
Thank you so much for the tip. I didn't even think to check that. Went to look and mine was set to 10m. I switched to 25m and it worked!!!
How can you tell the meters? New to autodrive
@@ZBULLET523 Click the gear icon on the autodrive hud. That opens the options and there is a trigger distance setting in there.
Giants really didn’t do that Vermeer self propelled baler justice. It’s an incredibly fast machine in real life. Easy to use, quarter turn discharge. Think only the Vermeer rake when manually shortened to 7m seems to be able to work well with it.
Yeah I agree. That baler should be able to swallow the bigger swaths, but it struggles even with the small ones.
Just starting to watch this series and I am enjoying it. to be fair been thinking something like this to do as a little series on the PS4. Looks of a interesting take to do but yeah the feed gonna be interesting and depending as for like beef cows, hay is all they need (base game wise)
Glad to have you following the progress. As you get further along you will see I make a few adjustments.
Health on your animals won't go up unless all the feed meters have food in them. Try giving just conditioned grass or editing the maize plus animal food addition mod to take different values.
You can also edit the types of feed.
If you aren't using maize plus just mix tmr and it will fill all bars
I'll look into that.
If you buy a different baler, the Gehl 1310 is nice, although I'm unsure if it will pick up your mega windrows. GIANTS really should've created different trigger icons for different purposes, making it obvious which one is for bedding and which one is for food. As it is, you don't know if a trigger will take grain, grass, manure, rocks, etc. And with so many mods not putting any decent info in the description field, well, we can't read the modder's mind. GIANTS also should've made it easier to get to the description field by showing it in some other location instead of only showing it in ModHub. What good is that when you finally use a mod for the first time 2 months after you downloaded it? They just don't think like a user in that shop.
Maybe they will make all of those improvements in FS25 😂
So there has been a bug since release where grass does nothing for cows. You will have to let them eat out that grass so its not wasted space but yeah grass does nothing for cows. Hope you can get the other issues sorted because I am excited to see how you handle this challenge when it all works out properly.
Doing some research last night and stumbled upon that. Kind of stinks but it is what it is. I'll adjust and move on. Thanks!
Had the same issue with certain trailers on Griffin Indiana map too. More likely not recognizing the mod to set up for dumping.
I’ll be changing to a different one. Will need it to work to stay productive.
I would grab a baby duetz and quick bale and make life a bit easier be about 140 g totql setup
I've considered the quick bale. Didn't want to use it as it seems I use it all the time even on my personal plays, but ... I think it might be the ticket.
Last few mods they dropped ball on there is nice things with premium expansion but they did fumble a lot with equipment mod world got our back on that but that big of drop and the equipment be sub par was a let down
Thankful for the modders. They keep it rolling for sure!

Actually I put some straw in did some testing and no difference.
