@@Tripwithadi Hi Adi, these capsules are only compatible with Nespresso original line, but we do have reusable pods for Dolce gusto machines, please check this link: "sealpodcapsules.com/pages/for-nescafe-dolce-gusto"
Or even a taste test by one person. Impossible to judge without knowing how the taste differs between each pod and which one produces the best flavour.
I would say that Sealpod and Waycup have best performance in terms of richness, aroma and body. If you want to fill your capsules in advance and have them prepared for anytime, I would recommend Sealpod because it comes with the fresh cover and the lids makes it air-tight. If you have time to fill your capsule when you want to brew it, Waycup is also a good option, because it does not have consumable.
Number 4, the slow one is the best, imho. Nespresso in general bews way too fast, the coffee is therefo a bot watery. You'd want the first drops to come out thick and slow, oily, like honey. Make the grind finer and tamp with more force, in order to get real espresso.
@@emoralesalvarado I debated for a while, as I couldn't find much info. As they were for my wife (I normally use a normal l espresso machine), I ended up going for the silicone lid ones because they seem a little less fiddly, as opposed to the metal lids which are a bit more versatile with the Interchangeable filters.

hey. is it possible to make good big capuccino with double short espresso shots from reusable capsules ? because every disposale capsule of nespresso\compatible is 5.5 gram usually, and the reusable capsules conatins even less i think. so, in my delonghi ecov 11 I need to use 13 gRams of ground coffee to make big capucccino.(80 ml shots and the rest is 180 ml of whipped milk). Maybe the brewing of nespresso machines is better, but I am not sure at all.
Hi, we have made a comparison in one of our latest video comparing our Sealpod reusable capsules to the Nespresso pods, you can check it th-cam.com/video/202VJfvOvnU/w-d-xo.html
In our office we use pixie machine most of the time, we thinks it's brewing quality is more stable than essenza mini, but the con is that it makes more noise
Hi Liz, if you want a richer crema and fuller body we would recommend our Sealpod capsules, but if you want the most ecofriendly pod that doesn't require consumable you can consider the ones with metal lid :)
Since every capsule is different I cannot assure you if it will work, but generally just fill the pod to the top then lightly press it, fill a little bit more and it's done, In case of the Sealpod capsule it comes with a spoon so you can precisely measure one and a half scoop
Thanks for the video! Question please: I am using Starbucks espresso dark roast which is for espresso/ fine grind. I am following instructions and tamping my coffee in the pod but ALWAYS get weak crema! Any tips for tamping to get strong crema with this particular coffee?? Thanks!
I have tested using Starbucks Espresso Dark roast before and it produces quite good results. If you are getting weak crema, 1. check if you are filling and tamping your capsule abit so it have more pressure before coming out, fill at least 4.5g-5g of ground coffee. 2. make sure you have descaled your machine (normally every 6 months) so water pressure is normal. 3. Make sure to use capsules that comes with Aluminium lids for better results. If your reusable capsule uses metal cover, the existing hole will not allow pressure to build inside, so it will not produce good crema. Let me know if any of this helps.
@@sealpodreusablecapsule9234 thank you. 1. I am tamping with abit of hard pressure, should I be? I am filling coffee so it is about 2mm under the top of the brim so there is small gap. 2. Machine is descaled every 6 months yes. 3. I am using the sealpod aluminium sticker lids. Any help is appreciated!
@@rl9754 With Sealpod you can will 4.5g~5g which is around one and half scoop of coffee. Fill one scoop of coffee first, tamp it down with some pressure. And then fill about half scoop, gently tamp it. Clean the excess grounds on the rim and then seal with the sticker. Here're the tips for you: - If the beans are ground too coarsely, the water will run through them too quickly, so the flavor won't be developed and it will result in watery coffee. In this case, tamp the coffee harder when filling the capsule. - If the beans are ground too fine, the shot will pull for too long which could make the espresso bitter. In this case, Tamp the coffee lightly when filling the capsule.
@@sealpodreusablecapsule9234I was wondering about this. I bought a stainless steel (both pod & lid) off amazon. No creme and sooooo watery that I had to dump it. So basically because of lid being stainless steel you are saying? Thanks for sharing. Very helpful
