TH-cam Live Stream this Saturday (the 27th) at 1pm EST!
Chronically Jaquie I watched it yesterday (thursday for me lol) and I LOVED it! The music was great, it was super usefull and I'm so happy you did it!
Also... do you renember me from your first youtube live? I was the person whom you're such an inspiration to! You ARE the reason I'm alive!❤️
Love y'all, and I PRAY that things will get better for you❤️❤️
Chronically Jaquie OH NO I hope you feel better soon
Chronically Jaquie Don't be scared Jac I know it's easier said than done! but you have alot of people who love you and care about u and your subscribers are here to support you! INCLUDING ME! Hi! I also live in Tampa ,Florida so if you ever need someone to talk to im here for u ! ik how scary that is i was born with 3 extra nerves in my heart and i would always get palpitations inrapid heart beats or too fast of a heart beat and usually dunkin my head in iced cold water would help but it didn't work this one time at school i was so scared we went to the ER and they couldn't count my heart beat anymore so they had to give me a drug to restart my heart i was only 15 and than i had to get a 6hr long heart surgey i thought i was going to die so i completely understand! btw you should watch THE FREY LIFE she is ill too like u but has Cystic Fiberous so check them out her hubby is a pastor
I litterally have TEARS in my eyes... I feel so much compasion with you, I don't really have this with anybody else... (I'm Autistic too, I sometimes find it difficult). I'm sending prayers and love to y'all. I hope you feel better soon🌈😘
Hey Jaquie, pharmacy student here, we were taught when making IVs that when alcohol swabbing the vials to only swipe across once. When you scrub back and forth you can drag particles back onto the area you already cleaned 😊👍
Good one to know in this routine, #courtneypaige11100 !
ICU nurse from germany here, we don´t have to wipe but ONLY if we pop the top off without ever touching it. of couse we wipe when used several times or we are uncertain we touched it. we follow the recommendations made by the Robert Koch Institut.
I wonder if this applies when cleaning the end of IV tubing before hooking it up (I infuse fluids daily through my port and have always been showed to "scrub" the end of the tubing back and forth with the alcohol swab for at least 20 seconds)?
Just Gina i also have a port and u are right about having to swipe back and forth for 20 seconds before connecting anything to the port
courtneypaige11100 I’m a nursing student we are taught to start in the middle and swirl outwards. But definitely the same purpose to not drag the particles back
Judd is such a supportive partner. What a beautiful family you have. All the best.
Stay strong jacquie! Thinking of you. Your videos are the only thing that are getting me through my 4th hospital stay this year. Thank you for all that you do, no matter how tough they are to do.
I'm so glad you have Judd there to help you to talk through your options, I am also thankful that you are going to call your doctor and look into feeding tubes and seeing what is happening because though I've not been a subscriber for a long time you have definitely changed recently less chatty and less fun I hope they can help you get your zest back xx
Sars💚🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺😄🍪🐼🐨🍉🍒😍😘🤑😎😎😎😎🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤘🏿👍🏿✊🏿👊🏿🤕🤒🙍🏾🙎🏻👯👯🍇🍉🍻🍺🎨🎨🎨🎨🎨🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚔🚔🚔🚔🚔🚔🚔🚔 I am sick please pick up my script and I am nine so bad910
Keep staying strong Judd and Jaquie! It's such a hard battle to get through things like this, but you aren't alone and you have done it for so long. I know, sometimes it's a matter of ," Yeah, I've done it so long but I don't want to struggle like this" but you can do it! Love and prayers from spoonies in Boston!
And that banana bag...it looks a little radioactive. That's how you end up with superpowers.
Sending all my well wishes and hope! You can definitely make it through these changes and we'll all be here to support you on this journey! I will say as always that your videos have been helping me loads both personally and for helping me to push myself to edit and upload my own vlogs. The news just came back that what we thought was a bad flare for me is actually just going to be my new baseline basically and the changes that we are now faced with, such as needing a service dog and a wheelchair for my bad days, have been daunting to say the least. However, seeig how you and Judd get through gives both my husband and I more hope that we aren't alone in this crazy style of life and we can't thank you enough!
I vote for a blog or something where you share your recipes. Food always looks yummy and I'm curious as to make some of them
Jaq I LOVED Harlow’s gear video, but I was so disappointed that I didn’t get to see her model that adorable raincoat! I hope to see it in a future video. 🌧☂️
I'm sorry you're not improving as you had hoped. Although it really sucks that you're in this situation I think getting the feeding tube may help you gain the physical strength to fight through this flare. Whatever you end up doing, I am sure you can get through this. You've been through so much and made it through every time, you can do this! Either way, I hope the doctors can at least do something for you and that you'll start improving soon. Best of luck!
I do the banana bag at my local infusion center every two weeks for my POTS and its helped a lot.
Do they tell you exactly what is in the treatment? Like what medience they use every step of the way to where you can rite it down.
I'm so devastated for you that you may have to take some drastic measures such as the feeding tube. I know you have worked so hard to try to avoid that. However, I'm so proud of you both for tackling the issues before you & making the tough decision rather than continue to wait it out, get worse, & then have it forced on you bc it's the only way to survive. I pray that this will help you get the nutrition you need & you can find a workable solution that gets you back to a more productive lifestyle. Rooting for you & hoping to hear good results soon! 😘😘😘
Hi sweetheart...so sorry that you are so unwell again! Prayers out for you and know that I and others support you. I go through the same thing with my chronic illnesses, so I truly understand and hear you. Take care beautiful and may Angels watch over the three of you, always :-) C.
I hope the feeding tube or something else helps! When you said the chickens sounded angry that made me laugh and that sounded more like your old self. I'm happy the veggie pops finally worked!
That banana bag looks like Gatorade... I love the way you and Judd pick on each other! It's so adorable! Holy crap, it's a baby crab! That's so cool!!
Jaquie, stay strong because you can do this. God will take care of you. ❤️ I'll let my prayer warrior Alex know. She constantly asks about you. You are loved.
Don't forget that.
Just to be double safe, you really should alcohol swab the “med port” of the IV bag before inserting the needle into+putting the vitamins/meds into the IV bag-(well that’s what they taught us to do in nursing school!)
I almost choked when you said that the chickens sounded angry😂😂😂 thanks for making my day a little better! lots of love and prayers from the Netherlands
I love how you pronounce vitamins, so cute.
Me, too! So cute!
“My chariot awaits.” Love it! 😂
Glad you have made the choice to be proactive with your health and care and move forward with the feeding tube before your health declines further. You are totally right. Why wait to get worse? Wishing you all the best x
Praying for you Jaquie!!💛 Your videos and your positive attitude are such an inspiration. Keep fighting the good fight girl, we are all behind you!💪🏻
Glad you guys are thinking *proactively* and going for any solution that might help. I've heard that you can still eat while on some forms of feeding tubes; so you could taste food still...
Good vibes going your way!
Kelly G It's possible to eat with any type of feeding tube; it just depends on whether the person can/should eat by mouth.
I'm so sorry to hear that things are getting worse for you :( Really hope that your phone call tomorrow helps you find a better plan x
I'm bed bound and Shark Tank is definitely one of my go to shows. CNBC will sometimes have hours of episodes back to back. Did you clean the port on the bag before you pushed the vitamins? That's important because it's not sterile and you'll contaminate the fluid.
looking forward to your other video! Thank you so much! I understand being scared, I do. I am going through something similar (I know I've been putting similar comments lately) but I just want you to know that you aren't alone in any of this. and I know you know that, Jedd is by your side as much as he can be! I wish you luck, and much much love from Max and I (Max is my dog)
I can't stop crying. I can't believe you are gone Jaq. Rest easy dear one. See you soon in the flip side. I have no doubt you knew Jesus. No more pain.
I just watched your service gear video and the way Harlow perked up when you said the word 'adorable' was so cute! 😍😍
Smart that you are being proactive on this. I hate a feeding tube for you, but nutrition is a necessary part of recovering from illness. My heart breaks for you and as always, I am awed by how courageously you cope with these problems. Sending prayers and hugs.
Sincerely hope you are able to find a long term solution soon, Jaquie! I can't imagine what it would be like to go that long without substantial food. Best wishes to you
Understandable it is worrying. Food is what keeps us all alive and without food it is scary. I have seen how much Judd looks upset and not smiling. We see a very small snapshot of the day, thus for us it's different. Jaquie hoping things be okay very soon for you. For all of your family xxxx
I don't know chronic physical pain, but I do get chronic emotional and psychological pain. Unending fear from very real conditions is a unique kind of anguish. I really have no words to pass along, just 'feels' for you guys all day, every day. :)
Many hugs for you! Starving is scary. When keystones are high it hurts. Takes so much energy just to do the smallest things. Feeding tubes should help if they can get past your stomach.
I understand where you are coming from, I also have gastroparesis and EDS at the same time. I wish we could video chat. I am down two pounds from just two weeks ago. Just keep your head up. You are a strong women and a good support team.
Hey Jaquie! I may have missed it but can you show how you run your IV tubing through the backpack? I love your videos and how much information you provide. I am getting better medical care now thanks to you. If I hadn't have seen your videos I would still be undiagnosed and having a rough time. I still have some medical problems under review to be diagnosed but I am on track to having better medical care!
I'm sending you lots of love! Wish it would all just get better for you already!! Hope tomorrow is a better day! 💕
Praying for you! Lots of love to you and Judd.
Sending you thoughts of love and support, hope you are able to get some help soon to be able to eat... Take Care Jacqui ... Hugs to all from Cairns, Australia
That's a good decision. Stay ahead of the game of health. Hope you got some news today. Take care
omg that pot hold total fooled me I thought judd really picked it up with the back of his hand facing up
I literally fell in love with ur channel I have a chronic disorder and I literally love u u help me fell so exceped and I love this channel so much now
Judd looks very concerned. Before you started talking I knew you were not doing well. Sending prayers. Stay strong.
I have the same Tervis tumbler with the elephants :)
I hope you can get your feeding tube soon and start to feel like
Harlow is so adorable!!!! :) you are strong love, just keep going 💜
Rest east beautiful
“What happened to the crab?”
“Oh it dead...” 😂
Now the video goes on... depressing 😞
I'm new to your vlogs but when I heard you talking about GP and POTS I was thinking Ehlers-Danlos. I have EDS and Gastroparesis and have had issues with blood pressure and heart rate (maybe POTS) and other possibly EDS related issues.
Praying for y'all. Lots of love to you both!
hey! not surreif you did this and just didnt show it, but dont forget to also alcohol swipe the entry port of the fluid bag prior to inserting the needle :)
My heart is breaking
Loved your service dog gear haul video! So much effort put into it, all the helpful advice and information, thank you! #Ruffwearadmin should definitely sponsor you! Wishing your appetite gets better, food stays down and the doctors to find more effective alternatives for you. Love all the way from Brisbane, Australia 🇦🇺 ps. I found you on IG. your training posts with Harlow attracted me as I have a lovely GR too ❤️ take care
tell Judd thank you for his service. We really appreciate it. my brother currency serves as well
Maybe the tube could give you more strength while they look for a solution to the problem
Judds eyes are so pretty.
8:19 I know you got through this, because I've already watched later videos. I'm still binge watching though, looking for something.
I love you guys so much! I will pray for you! Hope you get better soon!!!
I hope you feel the benefits of the banana bags soon!.....I agree with you....def stay on top of it before you get too weak and sick like last time...((hugs))...you will get through this...prayers.
Sending you love and prayers. I really hope you get better soon. ❤
I hope the docs get you on the NJ tube. I understand how it is to not be able to eat and end up on that slippery slope to a hospital stay. I have had a g-tube for a little over a year, mainly to help with hydration due to swallowing issues. Lately though I am also using the tube as my main means of nutritional support. At first the thought of the tube was scary but I really had no other option. I'm so glad I did it though - it's been great for my situation. Take care.
My prayers and thoughts are with you 🙏🏻
Hey Jaquie, I'm curious have you ever had an infusion bag pop or burst before? just looking at them makes me nervous and since they're in a backpack I'd bet you can never lean on them in case the pressure is too much
I'm curious about this, too.
Ebony Foster they are much thicker than they look. I suppose they could pop but it would take something big (like sitting on it or something)
In nursing school, they actually had us toss IV bags around in lab so we could see how durable they are. If you jumped up and down on it or body slammed the bag of fluids into the ground, yes, it's probably going to burst depending on the fluid volume compared to the size of the bag. But if you lean against it or accidentally sit on it, no, they shouldn't burst, and most people don't do those things because they aren't terribly comfortable to sit on. In my experience, even nurses who have been in practice for 40 years can count on a single hand the number of times a bag has broken and 95% of the time they burst because the bags had flaws or someone was using the port and stuck a needle in wrong and puncture it- and if you look at the port, it has a longer, very rigid tube so the needle can't actually reach the sides of the bag to prevent puncturing.
That's awesome how durable they are, thanks for answering 😁
Your should get an air fryer! They work so well to get crispy fries and your don't have to use any oil to fry them! Plus they aren't too loud so it probably won't bother your SPD
That's funny about the crab! I would much rather have a crab in my house than a roach! At least crabs aren't disgusting. :)
Hi Jaquie, I was wondering if you get your period? I'm assuming not, since you aren't really getting nutrients
As cheesy as this sounds may sound MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU. you've got this Jaquie. Best wishes and loads of prayers and love ❤️
Sending good vibes your way, prayers and hugs. You must be so tired of feeling so bad. :(
We get fiddler crabs in our house too!! Nothing like seeing a crap crawling up the wall!!!
thank for the update n how ur feeling. wow, if Judd is concerned, then it must be really serious. I didnt like the idea of feeing tube at first but now i see how seriously bad you are, i think its for the better to do the feeding tube. Judd is really smart so if you guys talked it out, i'm sure you will find a solution.
i see that your doing the live tomorrow at 1pm. i hope you feel ok by then. love ya from all over the world. i hope you feel our love. i'm sure harlow sences how you feel. dogs are amazing. Judd is amazing, and you are really specially amazing!!!
I would love to live close enough to an inlet to get crabs in my home :) Praying for you guys +
Haha I love how you call it chickens :)
i have a question. isn't food full of oil(like fries) harder to digest? i guess it's easier for stomach to digest mashed potatoes or rice
Sending all my love and support for you 💜
Lol the way you said vitamins confused me at first😂😂😂 I had to replay it
alaynamiranda that's the way many say it in other countries, not really something to laugh about.
How did you buy the vitamins to put in your IV bag?
Sending you love from Reba and I, I hope you find he answers I'll be keeping you in my thoughts
Im sorry things aren't going well Jaquie.. and I understand how it feels to not be able to eat the food you make or the food in front of you. I lost my ability to swallow and digest 98% of solid foods 15 years ago.. When it first began, I was living on nothing but liquids and at the age of 32 I dropped to a frightening 83 pounds.. I haven't and pray I don't get to the feeding tube stage but of course its never off the table..I was wondering, with you vomiting would a J tube be the best option? Im asking because I know there is always the chance that one can vomit up the J tube.. I just wonder if a GJ tube would be better for you?..... Keep the faith.. XO
Sending love and good energy your way
I hope you doctors come up with a solution. #hopingforthebest . Take care
You should probably wipe the med access on the bag itself if it isn't sealed!
I mean sealed in a separate bag!
I hope things will get figured out quickly. Breaks my heart seeing you like this. (Not trying to sound creepy)
will continue to pray for a change
continue praying for u. i got a question maybe u can give advice on it my County I talked to the dog tag place to see if I could get a service dog tag for my service dog and they told me that I need documentation for him and I know there's no such thing and they kept saying I needed documentation he needs to be registered and I told them that I self trained him and they're still telling me I need documentation and he needs to be registered what can I do
What country are you in? It varies in countries.
i live in southern ohio
the US does not require registration..
I hope you feel better
Hey Jacquie im a type one diabetic and always wanted to ask you what type of diabetic you is
What about oral banana bags? Pretty sure they're cheaper than the IV bags, and they have the exact same ingredients and nutrients. I think that may work better for you than the IV bags. Plus it could help with your stomach feeling more full?
Oral banana bags probably not an option because she has difficulty keeping down even small amounts of food. Keeping that much liquid down would be even harder. And because of her GP, her stomach already feels full, which is one of the problems. So good thought, but no. 😬
randomthatsme1 If she could consume oral foods enough she'd not need IV bags lol no need to act like a doctor when she knows her body lol
Sarah Smith I'm sorry act like a doctor? No need to be so rude. I have a lot of the same illnesses as Jaquie including GP. It's called a suggestion. Works well for me, doesn't mean it'll work well for her. Please learn to be kind to others, spread love, not hate. 😊
Pamela Terenzi I have GP too. It may not work for her, of course, but if she's able to take one glass of water or juice a day she could take the oral banana bags. It's a suggestion, and something maybe she didn't know about, hence my comment.
Do oral banana bags have less volume?
i like how she says vitamins
Hey! Just a tip from a TPN patient. You should only wipe the vials of meds once each. And you should clean the med port on the bag before injecting the meds into the bag. Just don't want you to get an infection!
I think the feeding tube is a good idea. It doesn't mean its a permanent thing. Even if it is and you get a J tube its not the end of the world. Watch the Frey life she just got a J tube because she also can't eat enough to support her body. I wish you all the luck and hopefully you can start IVIG soon. It has made a world of difference in my Myasthenia Gravis.
I hope you alcohol swabbed the med port on the bag before you poked & injected the vitamins into the bag...?😬🙏🏻
Have you tried drinking Banana Bag Oral Solution?
I'm sorry you haven't been well! Welcome to my world of malnutrition! I'm encouraged that they are at least giving you vitamins & fluids! My Dr's won't do ANYTHING to help me!! My chronic nausea/GP/MCAD is the cause of my feeding issues. It baffles me that in the US, people like me can be severely malnourished to begin with. Hopefully your GI Dr will get you set up quickly with a feeding tube.
Yesterday (I think) you said the Dr had ordered Vivonex formula? It's a great formula for many with allergies & MCAD. But it's not nice to drink! So be prepared! I've researched formulas and it appears the only one safe to try for me is the one made by Neocate. (Who makes baby allergy free formula). They have a Junior formula that has no flavorings/colors/additives, etc. The first sip immediately came back up. YUCK! But if it's in a feeding tube, I'm hopeful it will be OK! But who knows if/when I'll get one. In the meantime, I stay home and rest. Hang in there, you are on the right path! It's jus slower than we'd like it to be! :)
Hang in there Jackie!!a
I would rather have crabs than roaches . Hate you're still not able to eat well . I hope they are finding option for you . I hope you don't have to do the tube I forget what it's called down your throat. Mary from the Frey life did that and it looked horrible . You're a trouper though and know you'll do what's needed .
Emily Carriker Mary had an NJ (nasojejunal). It goes through your nose and into your small intestine. Most people with NG or NJ tubes eventually get used to the feeling if they have one long term.
Mary just got a J tube which goes in her lower intestines. She had a rough time with surgery but it is slowly working out for her.
Lol we got crabs is not something you hear everyday
Just curious but in nursing school they taught us since the new vials had a cap on they are considered sterile and don't have to be cleaned. Do you clean them to be extra safe? Or are these vials you have used already?
You're so beautiful! Hang in there, Jaquie, we're here for you!
You're banana bag looks like my TPN!
LifeAsMrsGardner Maybe it is simular to TPN in ways as it does have nutrients
In the extra vitamin aspect yes. But TPN has MANY differences and can cause severe liver damage. TPN with lipids helps you gain weight. I think its awesome how there is options such as a banana bag.
Where do you guys live? Any crabs in my house would be raised and eaten.
🙏💯
Wishing the best for you. :(
Do you also have MCAD?
