I can't see through the watermark, but I remember how handsome Ted was. He looked great, and I didn't care if he was a heel. 😂 I still wear my Million Dollar Man shirt, but it's faded pretty worn.
I dunno,.I loved the million Dollar Man, but dont know about the actual person.. Its very weird how his character was the way it was, and then they actually steal a bunch of people's money.
Oddly enough it is worth waaaaay more now than back in 1990 because precious metals are much more valuable. The belt is worth more like $250,000. The belt cost $40,000 to make in 1990 and is made of sterling silver with some gold-plating with all but three of the stones being CZ. But the big difference in cost is the discrepancy between overall inflation from then, which is 150%, but the cost of silver has way outpaced inflation and is up 500% from 1990.
It was appraised at 40k. But considering who carried/wore the belt (DiBiase and Steve Austin) and others who came in contact with it (Jake Roberts etc), it has to be worth no less than a million.
@@luciano-km7mq The value of silver has also way outpaced inflation. Today with the cost of silver 500% more than 1990, the belt would cost $240K to make.
Yeah, and he was pushed pretty hard initially, not like he was not given a shot. And there is a long list of guys who had Dad's who were great, and they failed themselves. David Flair, Bruno's kid, Erik Watts, etc. etc.
Ted, you're forever the king.
Jake's promo on daring Dibiase to get his belt back stood out since Roberts showed his deadly snake collection. 😅

Hey Ted guess what the back of your championship belt says made in china lol 😂 I’m just kidding!

That's the equivalent of carrying around a $100,000 belt today.

40 grand? I was told it cost a million dollars.

Did Jake date Virgil?
I used to watch your son, was he a jobber?
