since some people were saying they had problems with suggested videos blocking out the number, it's (657) 246-2853 go ahead and tell us embarrassing tech stories, hot takes, dating advice you want from Kyle, whatever you want
I remember telling the devastated Kinsey, "Someday we will look at back on this day and laugh!". Thanks for including my call, huge fan! Also great job Aron and Kinsey!!! Great video, made me laugh!
Funny thing is as soon as I heard your voice I actually thought it was Kinsey disgusting herself as a caller hahaha. You can tell you're her mom just by the similarly in tone! Great story!
The worse I had is when I had to work on a Windows 95 computer in High School. This was about 2002. The computer was in use and when I opened it, there was an inch thick of dust and something yellow. The yellow was from the smoking around the computer. I was told to fix it.
I am unashamedly in love with Kinsey lol. Also my embarasssing story, I got a psp release day. that night I was charging it, and dropped a soda and spilled it all over my brand new psp. I took it apart to clean it. got ait all shiny and not sticky. tested it before putting it back together. and as I put it back together I head a sickening crack.... I had overtightened a screw and cracked the screen.
I remember having the "unbreakable Nextel phone" and walking up to said company saying I broke it. Mind you this happened 6 times in less than 3 months. It is amazing what tank tracks do to a phone.
Genuinely funny calls, i know someone had to filter all those calls before getting to the segment so shoutout to them cause im sure there was some less than quality calls.
I thought IP64 rating meant that you can have 64 people pee on it before it breaks. Also when I was younger, I thought my N64 broke. I went a week without playing anything until I noticed the power brick had come loose from the back...I still have that N64 and play it to this day 🤣
I've had 2 tech fails I can think of, first was one of my phones I had it in my mind that I could replace the battery on one of my phones (I've forgotten which one I did this to), but as I'm going to take out the glued in battery, I somehow twisted the phone and broke the screen. Managed to get my money back for the battery I bought for it though. Second was my favorite phone, the Motorola One Hyper, fell off the armrest of my recliner in my basement. It fell like 2 feet but the case it was in failed to protect it from its fall onto the concrete floor and shattered the screen. The reason that was my favorite phone was it was my last phone where the screen was free of notches and hole punches, instead it had a hidden sliding front facing camera.
I feel for the one who had the monitors fall. I had a dual monitor arm that just sat on the desk, and made the mistake of removing a display. The other one went flying off the desk and broke
Ok to be fair the laptop thing happened in like 2003 it was his personal laptop that was like 6yrs old and there was a computer litterally 1/2 a block away but their were stores every 3 blocks or so in Midtown Manhattan. I specifically told him it was a tube of Compact Hard Drive Oil and it shouldn't cost more than $5 anything else and they were trying to rob him. They just kept sending him to other stores and he kept going.
i remember last year around this time i got covid, so i decided to take my pc and monitor upstairs to my room so didnt infect the rest of the family downstairs, all was fine until i tried to adjust my monitor and it fell, i cried a little as i lifted it and seen the screen was destroyed
Ok few year back there was a "computer repairman" here in my town , a guy a know went to him with his computer , all good few days later got a call that his computer was fixed and ready for pickup ... computer worked fine, however about a week or two later the computer started smelling pretty bad so the owner decided to open the computer to find out what smell it was, turns out the "repairman" left 3/4 of a sandwich inside the computer in the drive bay ;D
When I was in the Navy they'd do something similar. It could be having someone stand a mail buoy watch, or a hundred feet of flight line, or as a photographer we'd told them theit photos were fuzzy because someone forgot to add the focusing fluid to the development chemicals.
I accidentally deleted years of school work because I reformatted the wrong drive. The worst part was I told myself that it was ok to not back up that data as I wasn't going to touch that drive......
I worked at a mechanic shop my uncle owned on my summers in university I swept cleaned and power washed construction building equipment I stack diodes for a living u know u know I watched this like old guy he was like 79 put a bucket down then unplug like wiring for the machine and he would do it every day so after a month I asked him why he puts down a bucket before unplugging the machine wiring ........he said and till I die I will not forget this " I'm catching all them their electrons that be falling" it was at this point I was totally ok being 250k in debt to my higher education facility
I had Xperia Z3 Compact and battery lasted on that 3 weeks on standby and i charged it once a week in regular use like phone calls and taking photos and used it as GPS tracker.
9:25 I can name two: the Planet Computers Astro Slide 5G, and the F(x)tec Pro 1x. Both are of the slide-to-the-side variety, run modern android, and are basically impossible to buy anywhere outside of Ebay for whatever reason. The Astro Slide is usually around $1,000 and you can find them every other week or so, and the F(x)tec is more in the $850 range, but is rarer. I know this so well because I have desperately wanted either since I found out they were a thing, but the price remains out of my reach, so I just keep seeing listings come and go.
Nothing embarrassing about a Zune! Still have my original 30gb sitting on the desk I'm watching this video at haha. Definitely has hit a point of being kinda cool again though. Definitely a conversation starter
The worst I had was when I put my Xbox in a black plastic bin bag since I was moving from 1 parent to the other as I didn't like the remoteness of where I was, and to be honest never got on well with my stepdad back then. Next thing I know... My stepdad takes the bins out as the binmen are there. After a long car journey, I suddenly realise... Oh, there's no Xbox. I think I was 12 at the time or close to that. Fast forward 2 years, and I am a script kiddie that makes a bunch of mods for games. 12 years later now, I am thankful I had to change to PC so early.
Most phones before smart phones had no problem with a 3 day Battery life. Or a week. Or two. If his number was on speed dial a call is very plausible. My mother hat me on speed dial on every button, so no matter what she pressed, I got the call (she could not remember the numbers)
the summer of many blackberrys. LOL i blew threw 4 of em in a month, i sat on 1, ran over the other, dropped the other in a pool. and killed the last in a washer never ever again did i get a non IP 68 phone with a proper case
I had a customer come in to my store to trade in a watch. I had to find the serial number on this caked watched. The customer says. That was my grandpas watch which he loved very much and past away with it in the bathtub……….
Worse thing i did not really embarrassing but i was teaching my my mate how to install Windows XP when it come out and when the agreement page come up he ask do i have to read it and I said yes thinking it be funny he read it when we all know no one reads it at all. But after 10 min of him trying to read it I said NO you dont have to read it he yells at me and says you remember im dyslexic and I said oh thats right but still funny as f+++ LOL I get tormented to this day about it ...
And somehow convincing their customers its new and innovative 😂. They're trying to say they invented Type C 😂. All because apple is part of a group that invented it. 😂
since some people were saying they had problems with suggested videos blocking out the number, it's (657) 246-2853

Mainly mobile users
Sending one in tmmrw
Cant believe my story made it! Cheers Matt and Austin!
Still water logging phones? xD
Been a while but there always next time. Though water resistance is a thing now xD @@iNfLune5
I remember telling the devastated Kinsey, "Someday we will look at back on this day and laugh!". Thanks for including my call, huge fan! Also great job Aron and Kinsey!!! Great video, made me laugh!
hi Kinsey's mom!!
100% this is something I would do, so I feel you. 😂
and you were right, but when you're 14 having The Coolest Flip Phone Of All Time break in the wackiest possible way is So Serious
Funny thing is as soon as I heard your voice I actually thought it was Kinsey disgusting herself as a caller hahaha. You can tell you're her mom just by the similarly in tone! Great story!
I mean, next time the oven is already on, please check if any of Kinsey's wet property is in there 😀
The worse I had is when I had to work on a Windows 95 computer in High School. This was about 2002. The computer was in use and when I opened it, there was an inch thick of dust and something yellow. The yellow was from the smoking around the computer. I was told to fix it.
Now we need a guest appearance of Kinsey's mom.
The call is coming from inside the horse!!!
I am unashamedly in love with Kinsey lol. Also my embarasssing story, I got a psp release day. that night I was charging it, and dropped a soda and spilled it all over my brand new psp. 10:30 I don't trust anyone that specifically states that sweet potato fries are "delicious".
I'm still a proud Zune owner. I never use it anymore, but once in a while I charge it up and play with it, great device.
I thought IP64 rating meant that you can have 64 people pee on it before it breaks.

Bro I love this segment. Definitely keep it coming😂😂😂
Hahaha! Kinsey's mom is a legend! Thats so funny.
When I worked for Apple tech support, I came across a customer note that said "penis stuck in base-station"...pen is stuck, not penis.
Ok to be fair the laptop thing happened in like 2003 it was his personal laptop that was like 6yrs old and there was a computer litterally 1/2 a block away but their were stores every 3 blocks or so in Midtown Manhattan. I love how the number is obscured by the suggested videos at the end lol
This was such an awesome show to watch. Would love to see more
I love this channel and appreciate you Austin and all of your staff.
i remember last year around this time i got covid, so i decided to take my pc and monitor upstairs to my room so didnt infect the rest of the family downstairs, all was fine until i tried to adjust my monitor and it fell, i cried a little as i lifted it and seen the screen was destroyed

I would share my embarrassing tech story, but there's a preview blocking the phone number on the bottom. Oh well.
"I pee rating"😂
When I initially heard Kinseys moms voice I thought it was Kinsey calling and disguising her voice lmao
Holly monchis, if that phone battery were explode....
I am glad that Kinsey is ok
These stories are great. Please keep them coming
Lmao the zune tattoo guy actually popped up before I finished typing
I swear Kinsey and her mom sound alike. Because before she said kinsey was her daughter i thought "that sounds a lot like kinsey"
i felt familiar with the woman's voice and I thought she sounded like Kinsey and it's her mother! hahaha
Honestly we need a Dankpods cross over. Ranking Mp3 players?
Haha yeah! Glad to see another fan. Wade is such a cool guy
I would pay to see that!
TAKE ALL OF MY MONEY 💰 WE NEED THIS

I had Xperia Z3 Compact and battery lasted on that 3 weeks on standby and i charged it once a week in regular use like phone calls and taking photos and used it as GPS tracker.
Please do more of this!!!!!!
I had the original Samsung Alias and it was the first top of the line phone I had. It could flip two different ways. It really was a sweet phone

This was a great video I hope to see a hundred more
I still have my 2nd gen 80 GB Zune since 2007 and still works. 😅😅
Hold up, when is the next callin? This was really good!
I remember the Zune tattoo guy haha had a Zune myself and loved it
I'll take things that never happened for $500 on that first story.
Zune was ahead of its time and i lived it. Still own the 2 i gor when it came out.
[...] ever since we got I PEE ratings, hah!
WAIT at no time he said what phone the horse ate. Maybe it was a Nokia 3310!
The worst I had was when I put my Xbox in a black plastic bin bag since I was moving from 1 parent to the other as I didn't like the remoteness of where I was, and to be honest never got on well with my stepdad back then. I automatically hit the like button when I hear "Hello and welcome to ThisIs!" From Matt
I bought and owned 13 Red Ring of Death Xbox 360s during the 360's life span when it first launched that is my tech story.
Plz do a part 2!!!!! 😂
Not me just buying a new charger for my Zune HD 2 weeks ago and wondering where the heck my 80gb 2nd gen disappeared to....
Most phones before smart phones had no problem with a 3 day Battery life. Or a week. Or two. If his number was on speed dial a call is very plausible. My mother hat me on speed dial on every button, so no matter what she pressed, I got the call (she could not remember the numbers)

When is Kinsey getting her own show?
TH-cam put video suggestions over the number. No way to see it.
I tried calling the number and couldnt get thru. Is it cause im in canada or is the line down??
This was hilarious!
What is the voicemail number?? I missed this one and the suggested videos blocks the number!!!!
I would love to call in, but I live in the UK, so this number is useless to me. Huge fan of your channel by the way.

Worse thing i did not really embarrassing but i was teaching my my mate how to install Windows XP when it come out and when the agreement page come up he ask do i have to read it and I said yes thinking it be funny he read it when we all know no one reads it at all.

I get tormented to this day about it ...
Next time include the time I Linused a 3070
I still have my very first zune
I miss using my Zune
Why was mine not there?
"a lot" *sigh*
Most embarrassing tech fail was Apple not using USB-C until now, and only using USB2 speeds when they do.
And somehow convincing their customers its new and innovative 😂. They're trying to say they invented Type C 😂. All because apple is part of a group that invented it. 😂
I cant believe you said.... "cap" 🤢🤮
