@@9sleepExeter and 333 are certainly unique but I think for a lot of fans of bladee we really liked and related more to his old style of lyricism, the mixture of suffering and mundanity with opulence, using hedonism to fill a void, fearing intimate connections but craving them, his general worldview at the time. it’s really cool that bladee seems happier but his new stuff just doesn’t speak to the heart like the old stuff does to me. sorry to be so gay but old bladee made me feel understood and new bladee is just alright ear candy
