I do not agree with you on gun crime, it is your duty to see to it that there are no weapons entering into our country. We have 3 ports. Airport seaport and port st.charles. we have police tast force and military, put them to work and jail the importers of guns. It is clear that these guns entering Barbados are entering legally. We will not tolerate this wickedness on our soil. Barbados is not an American state. We are not here to put our lives and the life of our children by being an informer , when you well know where and how these weapons are entering our islands. And the majority of Americans actually oppose the gun lobby stance on weaponry for private ownership. 70% of American citizens do not own a fire arm, and at one point 90% of Americans wanted comprehensive gun control. Of American voters who prefer the status quo, their population is so small that they don’t even form an entire state. It’s absurd and maddening. We were able to get what is known as red flag laws passed at the federal level, but unfortunately that may not be enough in The long term.
