    Nafas /
I may have to just grab myself and leave
Every time , they say "You're provoking"
So should I go from here?
    To another place
    But I am here
and I want to leave a mark.
I just want to be honest
But I want to live comfortably
But I want to be happy
I just want to go home and relax
    And take a breath
Maybe it's best that I change myself
And become an alien man and settle on Mars
Make history and see the universe,
    that's waiting for me
And sleep next to the stars,
    in an alternate reality
I just want to be honest
But I want to live comfortably
But I want to be happy
I just want to go home and relax
    And take a breath
    Oh bish, oh bish
    Don't worry, it's okay
Everything will continue without you knowing, ignore.
Ignore, you'll live, you'll be replenished.
I just want to be honest
But I want to live comfortably
But I want to be happy
I just want to go home and relax
    And take a breath

Exactly like every other Israeli song in the Eurovision- without hate or racism. You strengthen my point.
And yet, it's still doesn't change the fact that he learned all of this in Israeli music school, was treated like every other Israeli(lol where is the apartheid?) and that actually his time in Israel gave him boost to his career... 🤷🏻‍♂️

At the end of the day- its just a realy MID song. Its very 2014-2016, maybe the lyrics have a meaning but I fell asleep.
If you are rooting for this guy because he was born in the Palestinian Territory well at least pick a better song to like. Can he do better? HATARI were awesome. Best thing the "Country they shot GOT in" ever sent. And they are very anti Israel.
This isn't about politics for me, if you are making this about politics- dont watch Eurovision, simple as that.

lmao,in the last years everyone think they are singers, just use autotune and that's it,10,20 years ago there were real singers with real talent, today they are garbage who all they know is to use computer programs and change their voice to say "OMG I'M A SINGER!" or to yell against Israel that they occupied Palestine without knowing the true story because they have been brainwashed for long time and they believe the fake news over the real news, what a perfect world to live in :)

  • @yuvalmati

With this song he intends to compete in the Icelandic festival? Is he going to sing in Arabic?
Does he even know Icelandic? After all, in the semi-finals of the festival, all the songs must be in Icelandic! Or the Icelandic TV will agree to deviate from the norm, just so he can participate and win, and then refuse to go to Eurovision! If Iceland wants to make dramas and retire, so retire! I'm only sad for other contestants in the festival who are going to be used as a human backdrop for a predetermined victory because of a political aspect, since they would be happy to go to Eurovision, but they have no chance in the face of the planned political show, and of course for many Icelanders who love Eurovision and politics are not burning in their blood, who will be forced to watch Eurovision without Icelandic delegation.

No I should be happy every Eurovision fan should be happy and even Iceland should be happy that they just didn't want this stigma on their country. And this simply means that people who understand that there is a greater complexity here and that it is impossible to simply let their representation in Eurovision serve a political goal that is absolutely not a goal of peace.
The silent majority in Iceland won.

So should Ukraine not send one of the many songs about war that are in Vidbir this year? When does personal experience become "too political" for you? When it doesn't fit your experience or views? He's singing about wanting a place to belong, that's not outlandish to wish for, not something intrinsically political or provocative.

An interesting performer. But.... If Bashar goes to the Eurovision Song Contest for Iceland, it won't be about music and songs. It will be about politics. And which way is Bashar to Iceland? It will just disgrace the competition. He is a talented person and he should not be contaminated by a political scandal. It will also cost Iceland its reputation. Why? Who came up with such a crazy idea?
