This was the 2nd Version of this Storyline I was watching, the first Version starring He Congrui as the ML and Bai Yan as the FL was very nice, this had its merit too and a whole lot of kissing Scenes 🤭😂. What I didn't like were their misunderstandings(MLs and FLs) and it didn't need to be 3 Hours long 🤦. Cheers mates 🤗

Bonito Drama, la actriz no me gustó mucho su actuación, el por su parte lo hizo bien. Para el Amor no existe la edad el protagonista muy paciente con ella
This was good until the end, she walked out for absolutely no reason. It’s like they had to add some type of conflict towards the end. Made no sense and it was a waste of time. In my opinion it was a little selfish, I understand she doesn’t want to feel the sting of someone being taken away from her. But, in that, she the man that wish her husband over nothing that warranted her leaving. If you don’t want to loose someone, don’t get anyone, stay by yourself.
So personally, I thought she did a good job of being triggered and spiraling on the beach. Then throw in severe depression (we’re talking self harm) and the deaths of multiple loved ones, and to me her reaction on the beach and just after was understandable. I appreciated the care they took with this scene and the rest of the show. Emotional and mental health issues are often either glossed over or belittled in these shows, so it was nice to see it portrayed in a matter-of-fact and caring manner. I do wish she had been honest with husband about her treatment for her trauma earlier (when they saw her doctor in the car). I get it’s a personal thing and it’s her right to share or not, but I think that’s information that he should have in order to better understand her needs, and their relationship would have benefited from it. That’s just my two cents anyway. 😜

The beach scene I referenced is about 2:54 and the self harm (she had a bandage on her wrist when she first met the doctor and he diagnosed her severe depression) and deaths (her parents and then her older brother- who died from saving someone) were sprinkled throughout in flashbacks. I hope this helps give some context to my comment. 🙂
I think she does a great job as a shy, fearful and depressed -person-getting-better, and I think the families arranged a calm steady loving older husband for her for this very reason. She needed help as she grew up and the husband was remarkably patient and generous and kind.

Her family was very loving and supportive (her cute little cousin taking the ML aside for a chat), and so making sure that she has someone determined to take the best of her and supporting her going forward is totally something that they would do. And he is a good match for her. People say she’s silly and immature, well he tends to get stuck in his own head and forgets about considering others. But they can both grow together as they learn to be together. The important thing is that they care about each other and are willing to put in the effort. Wow! I may have over thought this a bit! 🤗

This is one of the better scripts, I always enjoy it. It's not a bad watch. ML is handsome, FL is cute but I really didn't buy these two together. Maybe it's because she just seemed really sulky to me and he spent most of his time running around looking after her and coaxing her. Can't help but think he'd get sick of it eventually
Her brother was his best friend. He's watched out for her for seven years. Always wanting to protect her. He is much older than her. That's why she seems immature. She still needs room to grow but they'll make it.

OMG! They could’ve cut at least an hour off this version. The FL started frustrating the hell out of me so I started FFing through a lot of it. Other than that I appreciated that there was no violence or stupid protagonist. The FL was her own protagonist.
According to the dramas, the Chinese often eat just plain slices of bread for breakfast or sandwiches. Plain bread should be toasted with huge amounts of butter and jam! I even put cinnamon sugar on it sometimes!
The FL is so immature for her age. She's not acting like a married woman. Next time choose your actress well to portray the protagonist of a drama. Too immature to handle such roles.

FL was very immature, didn't properly learn how to communicate with the ML. ML very understanding and loving to the FL.. the age Gap was definitely a factor but doesn't have to stay that way.

I prefer to watch the earlier version with the cast of He Congrui and Bai Ysn as FL. They are both very matching and competible as a vouple. Both ML and FL are so mature and accommodating to each other. In this drama the ML is good in acting his role. But the FL is stiff and unnatural and is unable to portray her role well. She's so immature, insecure and so childish. She needs to work very much harder to improve her acting skills. Totally unimpressive and unconvincing.
Yeah the drama is different and good. Yet, The ML has to run a company and also has to please the FL and have to look after her when she's drunk. She always misunderstands the ML, She treats him coldly for days then he has to explain her caox her. Yes she had a tragic in her family But it doesn't mean she has to treat him coldly.

FL was very immature, didn't properly learn how to communicate with the ML. ML very understanding and loving to the FL.. the age Gap was definitely a factor but doesn't have to stay that way.

I prefer to watch the earlier version with the cast of He Congrui and Bai Ysn as FL. They are both very matching and competible as a vouple. Both ML and FL are so mature and accommodating to each other. In this drama the ML is good in acting his role. But the FL is stiff and unnatural and is unable to portray her role well. She's so immature, insecure and so childish. She needs to work very much harder to improve her acting skills. Totally unimpressive and unconvincing.
Yeah the drama is different and good. Yet, The ML has to run a company and also has to please the FL and have to look after her when she's drunk. She always misunderstands the ML, She treats him coldly for days then he has to explain her caox her. Yes she had a tragic in her family But it doesn't mean she has to treat him coldly.
Remember, she is much younger than him. Also naive. She's learning as she grows and he is helping her to mature.
