I would not shave my balls as I don't use an electric on them, but the armpits are fine if they are trimmed right down first. Have you tried any of the BodyGroomers I have made videos on?
@miguellake1 Have a look at my videos. I have done three of the Philips. I have also reviewed them on my website shavingadvisor.com. You will need to see if they are what you want though. 👍
Would appreciate your thoughts on the cleaning station. Best video I've seen on this product, essential viewing as the manual it comes with is quite poor! Thanks for your work.
@sufc43 Thanks for your kind words. The cleaning station is great to have. It's just not nessasary. I'm going to get a video on that, though. Have a great end of 2024 and Xmas brother 🙏
Thank you. That video will be coming after the S8 vs. S9. I'm glad some viewers have an interest in that video. You make a valid point, which I will cover in the video and solutions to that. 👍
Thanks for informative video. I always have trouble with flat hairs under my chin and to this day no shaver has performed that well until this Series 9 Pro claims it to be. Yes, it pricey but I may just need to get this in the next year.
You're welcome. I have had success with pre-shaves and a good exfoliating scrub before the shave to sort out flat laying and tricky hairs which I will write, video or both about once I'm happy with the progess. Have a great end to 2024 🙏 😃 🙏
Hi, seen on your website the Panasonic Arc 5. Looking on Amazon the latest model (EL-LS9A...assuming this is the latest as it's the most expensive on Panasonic's website!) offers a model with 5 blades or 6 blades. Do you know if it will be the same model but just a different head?
The models are different. I have a review on the Arc 6 that you might find useful. A comment section is at the bottom and I can reply on that page if you get stuck and have any questions. You can see what I say about the performance in comparison to the Arc 5. Hope this helps -- shavingadvisor.com/electric-shavers/panasonic-arc-6-review/
Yeah, I know what you mean--it's hard to see the debris. Wash it under the tap, and then you should see it come out. Always wash. Foil blades (Braun) are different from rotary (Philips) types. 👍
The head can be kind of locked and it can be clicked into positions. When it is unlocked via the button, it should move back and forth freely. If you still have an issue with this I can send you a method to send me a quick video clip of it to see what's going on.
@shavingadvisor thanks for the quick response. I'm a newbie when it comes to electric shavers so it could just be me. I was expecting it spring loaded to some extent so head goes back to a central position
If you make a short video and then upload here www.file.io/ .You can then provide me with the link it will provide of your video. It would be better to add that link on my webpage for the S9 Pro as it is a better commenting system and I get reply's properly. Here is the webpage to post the link (comment section at bottom) -- shavingadvisor.com/electric-shavers/braun-series-9-pro-plus/
I’m a pilot and just got a job where I’ll be on the road 7 days at a time and I’ll have to shave every morning with absolutely no visible hair. Would you recommend shaving cream and razor or this?
For convenience, the S9 Pro gives you that, and it's one of the best electrics. There are some 'it depends', to your question. Do you get irritation? Do certain razors cause irritation for you or electric shavers? What razor or shaver do you use now? If you have normal skin and can shave daily without irritation, then you have options. The S9 Pro is going to get rid of that 5 o'clock shadow daily as long as other razors achieve this.
@ I’ve never used an electric shaver before. I tend to get some razor rash on my neck if I haven’t shaved in a while but that’s rare. It sounds like you think the electric razor is more convenient and does just as good of a job as shaving cream and my current Gillette razor?
@matthewcolgrove9098 It won't shave as close as a Gillette, Cartridge, or Safety Razor, but it's a great option for shaving conveniently without preparing with shaving lubricant and the mess thing. If you order one from amazon like from the one in the description link you'll get a month to try it out and if all is not well, you can return it. Might be worth a try!

Great review! Very detailed and helpful! Thanks
Glad it was helpful!
Good detailed review.
Enjoyed that.
Thank you. Have a great finish on your 2024 👍

Hey. You asked about the cleaning station. Ask and ye shall receive --video is here th-cam.com/video/IUsenuikk7k/w-d-xo.html
Helpful. Thanks
Great. 👍
Very helpful! Looking forward to hearing about the cleaning station. The fact the cleaning fluid evaporates and only last 8 weeks is ridiculous.

thanks for this vid, the manual that came with mine is awful
You're welcome. Glad it helped you out. Have a great end to 2024 🙏 😄
Do you clean the inside of the shaving head and use soap after every shave?
I don't after every shave, normally. I would say every 3 shaves, but if the growth is long like on these videos, then I do it every time. 👍

On my Phillips shaver I used to shake out all the facial hairs, with this one I don’t see many hairs when I shake it out to clean it?

I have recently bought a series 9. Should the swivel head return to centre by itself? I feel like it should but mine sticks where I leave it? Thanks

Yeah. It is not spring loaded at all.

Nice
Do you have a preference on what you would use to trim and shave 7+ days of growth?
I would only ever trim 7 days and never shave. Trim then shave. If money is not an issue, then for an electric shaver, I would prefer the S9 Pro. 👍
